BTN is 32/18 24% 3b after 80 hands

On the flop I'm not thrilled as the hands that are going to continue have quite decent equity against us if we bet. We're not even blocking diamonds, but the SPR is only 3, so I guess its a no brainer pot/get it in. Any inconsistencies in my thought process? Would you play any different at any stage?

UTG: $7.19 (72 bb)
MP: $13.13 (131 bb)
CO: $11.19 (112 bb)
BU: $13.28 (133 bb)
SB: $8.00 (80 bb)
BB (Hero): $10.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with K 6 5 K
3 players fold, BTN raises to $0.35, SB calls $0.30, Hero 3-bets to $1.40, BTN calls $1.05, 1 fold

Flop: ($3.15) Q 3 T (2 players)
Hero bets $3.15, BTN calls $3.15

Turn: ($9.45) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.45 (all-in),

Dislike potting flop - prefer check or a smaller bet.

Agree on not potting flop. Check only

can we explore this?

EpicWin why did you bet pot?

If we bet small, what is the reasoning for it?

Board hits his range, dont wanna give free cards or a cheap price if he has fd/str8draw

I think it's debatable 3betting this pre - this KK combo has marginal playability post flop, and we're oop. We also have a very awkward SPR going to the flop - we don't flop all that well with this hand so I might just call. Looking at our options OTF - if we bet big we fold out hands with low equity, he calls with his middle equity hands, and jams us with his strong hands. I think I would bet smaller here - as played jam the turn.

Agreed: I don't like the 3b. If the hand were doublesuited, okay, but here, I just don't think it's worthwhile.

It looks like after his call you have only 60% pot behind. Would it make sense to bet 2/3rds pot on the flop, and then save some money (if the turn hits) or have a full pot sized bet to exert max pressure (on a bricked turn)?

My immediate thought is on this flop, any bet is basically a bluff. We don't even want to improve: K is a disaster and even K is unsafe for a lot of hands which would call flop bets.

Regardless of the size, it feels like any flop bet will mostly get rid of the only hands we're actually good against.

3b is borderline but acceptable imo.

Flop is a check because you have no diamond, no pair to the board and no straight draw. SPR too deep to be potting with such a weak holding.

Preflop is not borderline, it's mandatory. People should and do open buttons wide and we need to get more money in against that range. 3betting wide (this is not wide) serves to discourage people from opening wide themselves; it also puts us in the driving seat, meaning they're the ones that will feel like they're calling to hit the flop, as opposed to us perhaps feeling like that.

Flop psb is not good. If you bet it should be more like 2/3rds imo, though I prefer a c/f.

As played this is one of the better turns for us and we should definitely be jamming turn.
