Has anyone done an EFT from PartyPoker ? I'm just curious on how long it takes for the $ to go from Party to my bank account.

Btw, party has the softest .10/.25 and .25/.50 games if anyone is interested.

The players are lol-bad and most of them buy in full!

Obviously he's just trying to get all the regs to play at PartyPoker so that other networks would be softer.

FWIW the PLO games at IPN are (or at least were) really significantly softer than any games I've played on other networks. I just found the software so frustrating (it's THE worst euro network software) and volume low that it wasn't really worth it. Also HEM AIEV doesn't work there because villains muck their hand without showing in showdown if they lose.

^^ enough reason for me not to play there tbh. I also hate the partypoker software; always have. Got me some time to get used to the stars software as well, since I've always played on Full Tilt. Do you play on stars chinz?!

Nope, I "can't" play on stars for tax reasons. We have to pay taxes on non-EU poker winnings and we have progressive taxing (which basically means I'd get taxed harder for poker winningsthan my actual tax-% is)

eg.
A) Income 20k€/year and 25% taxes + 30k€ taxfree poker winnings
= total 5k€ in taxes

B) Income 20k€/year and 30k€ taxed poker winnings with 35% taxes
= total 17.5k€ in taxes, ie. 12.5k€ more (~42% of poker winnings)

These numbers are just something I made up, but kinda illustrates why with progressive taxing it sucks even more than tax-% suggests.

edit:
Also I'll get >60% rakeback and possibly even like 0.5ptbb/100 softer games on euro networks, so I'm not complaining

Lol at trying to get regs on party. I agree the software is a kick in the ass but as a Mac user I can only play on a handful of sites and the only reputable ones are Party and Stars.

The worst part about it is that you can only use web browser version on Mac and there is no auto reload and it congratulates you every fkn time and you can't turn it off!!!

You really haven't played on many sites if you think PartyPoker's software is bad... it's one of the best there is. (and yes, still way worse than Stars)

I seriously couldn't play more than 4 tables on IPN, while I have no problem playing 9 tables on iPoker, Entraction, PartyPoker,Ongame or even old Betfair. Didn't really matter tho, as there was rarely more than 2 tables above PLO50 running anyway.

Is the old betfair the old Pokerchamps? Because i used to love the old champs software and I beleive it was sold to betfair? Bwin?

Stars has to be #1 software. I just run like horse**** on stars but run like God on Party or Merge.

The old betfair software wasn't necessarily super awful (aside from some bugs and laggy interface), it was simply completely different design than any other poker sites which pretty much all share the same idea how things work. The action buttons were on the left side of the table, you could open multiple tables in one window, dealer button was in "name box" instead of in the table etc... It was really weird and took some time to get used to, but it was playable after you got used to it.

There was lots of 250/500 action on Betfair some years ago and I believe it was the highest stakes online for a while(?)

I think it's the Pokerchamps software but not 100% sure, does that look familiar?
