Basically I used to play 1/2,2/4 FR NL, some of you might not believe this but you could basically crush by knowing this one move, if someone 3b you could call any pair or suited connector and if you flopped a set or huge draw you lead OOP and they ALWAYS raised with KK or AA,(only hands people ever 3b), and in position you just shoved over their cb with a set, straight, 2 pr or flush.

So I used to have 5k+ months every month. Then one day I was looking at the other games and saw PLO, I think there was like 2 games running at 1/2 on the euro site I was on. I played that and some PLO/8. I had quickly read the rules on some site but I severley overvalued hands, like any 2 pair, trips or FD was the nuts to me and I had read about "wraps" so anytime I counted outs as soon as I got to 13 I was looking for the raise button.

Straight away I was hooked to this new game, after the grind of playing NL FR I had discovered this crazy game where you could play nearly every hand, even playing 2 tables I could hardly keep up with the action. I would play and people would be typing "idiot" and "fish" in the chat box every time I won a hand and I couldn't understand why. I remember 1 pot on prima where it was 3 b pre and 6 of us went to the flop I had JJQQ and the flop came 67T, I remember thinking "as long as someone doesn't have 89 I have blockers to the straight" and because a 3b was always AA I could bluff the PFR anyway, so the PF3b pots it and it gets re potted and called before it gets to me, now there's too much money in to fold so I call and 4 of us get it in, one has top set and the other 2 have straights one with 67, turn is a 6 and the rivers a J, whole table starts ranting at me but I've just won over 1k in a pot, more than I've ever won in a day at FR so what do I care, now I'm really hooked.

Now I need to find a new site because sometimes there isn't even 2 tables going on prima, plus there's a crazy guy called TONYTRIPS there who plays every hand and I don't know how to adjust, in reality he's probably a 35/25.

So I look about on the internet and see these sites called Full Tilt and Pokerstars, download the client and am amazed to see there's upto 6 games going at 1/2. A friend has an account there so I use his gogogal account, remember at the time this was common practice, just imagine a friend wants to use your account to play stud hi, you don't play it, where's the harm? This account didn't have RB though as neither of us knew what it was, so I later created a Ugogal account that was seized with 4k in it, yes I was stupid enough to use a similar name and transfer between the 2 for cashouts.

I was playing on FT and winning but not much, mostly 2 to 4k months but getting something like 1.5k in RB which isn't hard to do playing 1/2 and 2/4 PLO. The thing was the players here played a different style, they would raise and reraise with non AA hands so you didn't win every time you called and flopped 2 pair also they would call the flop and not lead with their straights or flushes but CR or sometimes just call so your AA got beat more.

I decided I needed some help so I bought all the books I could find on PLO, stewart and rubens pot limit poker and pot limit omaha, Phil Helmuths "play like the pros" for the PLO section,LOL, Super System 2 and I signed up to a training site called Cardrunners who had PLO video's by a guy named Muddywaters.

Now if you watch the first PLO videos on CR, Andrews style is to raise and 3b a decently wide range but sort of give up on flops that miss him, whereas with my FR background I was playing a tight PF style and basically pot, potting until I met resistance with my AA and TP hands, so I learned to refine my play a bit and also with the books I was reading I learned about equities and understood the true value of wraps and made hands.

Here's a link to a DC vid where I stack michaelsc 200BB deep with AA, before I would have 3b this every time.http://www.deucescracked.com/videos/...o-1-2-deep-PLO

At the time Wazz was starting to do PLO vid's for CR, I played with him and had him on MSN, he asked for some hands for a review video he was doing, I picked a couple of "good" ones and sent them to him, in my mind these were hands where I had made a tricky move and played well, however when the video came out the "tricky move" I had made was the part of the hand he critizied and he pointed out how they were bad against the Villans "range", HIS WHAT?

I think in both I had dry top two. First one I called a CR on a KJ8cc 200BB deep with something like KJ56hhdd and got in on a blank turn and the second had dry AT on a AT8hh and CR got in vs a cb 200bb deep, (these are from memory so prob not exact). Ranges? WTF was he talking about, none of my books had ranges in them, Andrew didn't mention ranges. My approach was to make ahand and keep betting it until the board changed, if I had top 2 and they were calling then they had a draw if I didn't come in then I was winning, same with AA.

This might get long, anyone interested in this **** before I waste another 2hours?
