Some interesting hands from a session I just played. I played with villain I believe yesterday, and he was a super rock nit. For some reason today he was super duper active, and he was check-raising flops fairly decently as game went on, even though I was barely cbetting the flop - it seemed like he was running super hot as I never could make a hand vs him. He also never folded, which isn't bad, but when I was never making a hand, it gets ugly.
Long story short, he started tilting a bit near the end, and after spending most of the match card dead, missing every board, etc. I finally ran good at the end when it mattered. Unfortunately, gotta go out to eat now so I quit him.
Wanted to post the cool hands before I forget tho.

So he started 3betting a bit, I 4bet with QJ9T, he 5bets, I call. I get lucky after binking back door 2 pair.
Ever since that hand, he seemed to go on tilt. Hand 1 here I prob should have folded the river because he always pots with the nuts (pretty reliable tell), but he seemed like he was on tilt, so I felt river c/c was a must given the dynamics.

Seemed like he was on tilt, was 3betting pretty frequently, so Hand 2 given the dynamics I felt my play was fine. This was the first time he had ever bought in full (he usually 50bb stacks), and he also quit his other table vs someone else, obv because he was focused on me and wanted to win back what he lost. Yes I'm folding on the river if I don't improve. FWIW he snap shoved the river and I snap called.

Over here, I felt this was a great spot to 4bet because I'm going to be dominating the hands he puts it in a lot of the time when the flop comes red, plus I dominate a lot of his mid-high rundowns, etc.
This is only the 2nd time I've 4bet him all match, he prob puts me on AAxx, and he snap-called the flop bet so I know he's drawing (I was watching his other table, and he plays super fast with any somewhat decent hand for stacks), turn is a relative blank, he checks, I insta-pot to try and take it down, he times down and shoves. River blanks!
