Does my play look OK? I figured he had AAXX when he L/RR. I need 33% equity to call and PPT says that I have 41%. I thought that I could play perfectly in position against his hand on the flop.

PPT states that I'm a favourite against AAXX on the flop so I thought it was best to get it in and try to force out the button.

Pretty standardly played but post in the beginner's thread or something for a touch-up on your reasoning. You can't just PAWT ODDS decisions with more $ behind (i.e., when you aren't facing an all-in bet) -- and the 33% number would be irrelevant even if calling the 3-bet would put you all-in preflop. You won't be able to play perfectly just because you're in position. Position doesn't even matter that much at this SPR. If, in-game, you called because you were in position but would have folded out of position, you ended up using a ****ty heuristic. BTN is likely (and should be) doing pretty close to the same thing with his range regardless of whether you call or shove, so that rationale is off.

no, i dont think those feelings are accurate. My read is that he didn't even realise he lost untill the pot got shipped the other way. And even then, the first 4 seconds you think it's a PS software glitch.

Hahah exactly what happened. I was playing 4 zoom and then I noticed I had $ missing to my stack and opened the replayer to see this. Guess I ran good he didn't have 200bb stack

Just thought it was a funny hand to be honest.

Now one of the only thing missing in my carreer is 2 players getting it in with blockers 7777 vs 8888 on 69Txx river for 300bb stacks.
