Watching Shuller play the challenge really made me want to get back playing so I finally gave it a good go this week end. I think I started to get decent around 5K hands, playing 26/16, pretty much trying to emulate Shuller as I love his style of play. Still need to work on my 3 betting though (and a bunch of other stuff).
Also even though this is probably standard, boomswitch please.

That's one steady upwards-going EV line! Just keep at it and don't let the runbad get to you and you'll have a roll for moving up in no time.

I did the same from plo2-plo5-plo10-plo25 last month and runbad at plo5 in the beginning was annoying, but before you know it the roll is growing and soon you're out of it

      edit: see, plo5 cursed!!

edit2: btw my red line is equally tanking into the ground like yours so don't worry about that one at plo5. Apo'd did as well.

Aha thanks that makes me feel better ! I have been worried a little bit about that red line and looking back at the graph apo posted his was pretty much around 0 most of the time which is pretty amazing. I would guess it comes from his play in the blinds and opening the button more. Also I've been thinking that since he value bet so thin sometimes it might be due in part to people just folding the river whereas I'm often happy to check it through.

I moved down from PLO100 (played about a year ago or so) to PLO5 now, cause of apo. But I still suck and am not able to win. But I wont give up, I wont stop before I actually beat PLO from PLO5 to PLO50 at least.
Ah and my redline is dropping like -30bb/100h. But I feel like I always have the 2nd best hand and have to fold alot in big pots.

Its a shame that I have to play PLO5 after so many years of poker and I was even beating NL600 couple years ago. And its not about the money anymore, its about my ego. I want to beat the micros and lows once more. So its time to learn alot from his streams and not just try to copy his style.

I did have a thought about this kind of thing today. I do work full time and I will make like $20/hour starting this Friday. I feel like Poker should be pointless unless you´re making significant money or just like the feeling of being a sick degenerate addict (I´ve been in both places and I´m not sure which I liked better lol). My plan is to kill this Online Poker thing once and for all, "win" or "fail" style. I will go back to Uni in October so I will give myself 5 full months to get to a position where I can go back to makeing significant money from Poker (i.e. EV hourly at least >$10, which is minimum wage in my country) or give up on Poker completely. I will work hard on this and try and put in big volume.

Again, this is all "win" or "fail".

"Win" = Move up to PLO25 at least and be a winner (EV winner maybe) - keep pushing.

"Fail" = Realize you suck so bad you can barely beat PLO5 and will never make significant money again - be done with Online Poker and focus on Uni which should yield much better hourlies anyway.

I feel like the notion of "playing until I can beat PLO50 again" doesn´t achieve much. You might end up playing huge samples with nothing in return. What´s the point in that?

As for "beating NL600 a couple years ago", it seems like a) we´re talking lol sample size (I for one beat PLO1000 over 20 hands lol) or b) you´ve made enough money from Poker so who cares whether you can beat PLO25 today?

or c) my account got hacked and I lost like 84% of my roll and never recovered from that

And for the other question: Its my ego. I hate giving up. And I do work fulltime, too, so I dont need that money at all. I feel like the dumbest person in the world, not beeing able to beat plo5
