Just started playing today. On a side note, my vpip is extremely high and my pfr is fairly low .-. aka. I suck. I think I am undervaluing/overvaluing certain hands and they're getting me in trouble.

1 more, just because I'm confused. So he limps me til river and then reraises. I'm assuming he has the aa or even 2 pair up until river, but when he reraises river and I realise he probably hit the flush do I just have to fold and forfeit the stack?

I would like stats but I would check call river against most villains. (ssshhh dont tell regs)

-If they have a good 2 pair (which you block) they will likely put in a turn or flop raise.
-Ace of spades is not on the board meaning the nut flush most villains need to raise the river is easier for villain to have
-Once again you block a lot of top 2 hands so that leaves a lot less hands that are willing to call the 3rd barrel
-Players are a lot more likely to bluff when checked to which I think is the widest range of hands we get value from on the river as played


If stats show that villain is overly cally on river you have to bet river, and if they show villain is overly aggro on river then that would be a reason to call.

Stats? Also I'm 38/14 vpip/pfr.
