It's fine. In fact getting all your money in pf with aaa is the best outcome. And having a 4% equity edge (your specific situation) in a 3 way pot is not trivial.
Hand | Pot equity | Wins | Ties |
---|
acad5dah | 39.78% | 238,398 | 549 |
**** | 30.14% | 177,863 | 6,000 |
**** | 30.08% | 177,466 | 6,002 |
Yeah you're a bigger favorite with aa versus two random hands but at least with trips you eliminate the possibility of the one of the two other people having aces. Two people having aces in a multiway pot is the one situation where aces tend to lose equity pf.
For instance.
Hand | Pot equity | Wins | Ties |
---|
asac2c | 28.43% | 105,920 | 129,366 |
ahad3h | 28.83% | 108,287 | 129,366 |
789t | 42.74% | 256,427 | 0 |
Not enough to justify folding suited aa in a multiway considering the crap people will get in with. Unsuited aces, however, fall off in value very quickly as more people enter the pot.
Hand | Pot equity | Wins | Ties |
---|
adac5s3h | 17.59% | 47,995 | 115,144 |
aa | 23.03% | 81,223 | 113,992 |
**** | 29.68% | 173,600 | 9,080 |
**** | 29.69% | 173,684 | 9,041 |
