Would he ever check 8x? If he would then 89 is credible. He could have 579, 9TJ, TJQ as well.
I'm gonna safely assume he couldn't be going for a c/r vs a stabby button cause you'd have mentioned it if it was a possibility.
Vs just 579, 9TJ, TJQ we've only got 60% We'll have to fold on a tonne of cards & won't feel great about calling on a 2 or a 5 either. It seems like a pretty good spot for him to bluff cause it'll put us in a lot of ****ty spots otr if we just call but I'm happy in assuming he doesn't know this cause most players at this limit aren't that good. Also there's the fact that his af is low.
Overall I feel there's too much risk & not enough reward.

anyone herocalling? I actually feel like he s pretty polarized. No reads though. took long before betting. Many of his bluffs beat me too i guess, so meh, just checking.
I've made calls in similar spots using the same logic & they just don't bluff enough at these steaks. I think this is a good spot to bet again though, he's likely got some weak Ax,
or
draw & some straight draws too. Since c/c is kinda hard imo we could bet just to take it down cause I'd say we take it a fair amount of the time, I could be wrong though & am sometimes too bluff happy with the turn+river bluff once the flop has been checked!
In regards to your 2nd hand:

Sorry for double post. How do I do here multiway
Hmm, my initial answer was badly but I just ppt'd & you have 35% vs random AA so you maybe have enough to go with multiway. Mess around with ppt imo, you also might not have enough to go with cause if they're getting in like AA/KK & stuff like 9TJQ a lot of your outs could be gone.
