UTG big whale, other guys are regs
CO is a loosing reg.
BTN is a winning holdem player, but loses in PLO (fish in plo).

Flop lead OK?
I think we should lead, not c-shove.

Thoughts?

I think check>lead, because you aren't afraid of any turn, they are shoving normally every combodraw or pair+oesd etc. I think to get it in multiway with this hand isn't that bad :P
And if UTG is a big whale, he's going to put his last $ in with a lot of crap. If I got just the nfd or top set without redraws I think lead>check

I also don't get why you try to let UTG off the hook.

Jeah I agree with that for sure... Out hand is just so incredible strong that leading is bad here... if UTG is really bad he is betting all in with everything here... and even if it goes checked through you dont mind it that much do you?

Potting is probably the worst line you could have taken. Just check... or if you are so worried about it being checked through (this shouldn't even be a concern when you flop this big) then bet like 110. The whale won't fold and you can induce from the others. You are gonna get 0/1 calls the majority of the time by potting.

110$ was also in my mind, but i thought poting is maybe weaker. But yeah, thanks to my bad flop bet fish folded prolly AAxx.

I hope to learn and get better

One more reason to check is that the other guys could level theirselve into a call.
UTG is potting here imo 80%+, CO puts him on aces, BU puts CO on hands that have around 40-50% against aces comes along aswell.....

if the guy is that big of a whale why not just lead small? only the very worst hands will fold in that spot and he's not betting with those hands anyways and you want money in on the flop so why not do that?

yeah definitely check. even if it somehow checks through and one of the 12 bad cards come, we still can get it in with like 40 percent equity vs the straight and the spr is only about 1 so it's not the end of the world, and the upside of getting a looser call or two is worth it. Also the order of action on the flop is nice since the pre flop 3bettor acts next, then the other two players are never checking a strong hand to induce the pf 3bettor to shove, so it's a lot less likely to check through.

i think in this particular spot, check> bet smallish > lead pot.

given multiway and you pot this draw heavy/wet board oop, you're screaming massive strength and noone is going to stack off light unless they have like mid set that can't get away with or some type of wrap that can't do anything but jam.
