easy pot bet imo b/c any strait or AA would have potted the flop or turn. (and you hold blockers on that wheel strait). you could bet for value, i suppose, but i think you're getting called by any A at these stakes, even if you pot the river.

i would think you're good nearly 100% of the time here.

may not be a pf raise hand though b/c you're cards don't work well together and the 55 won't give you top set hardly ever.

he only have just over a 1/2 psb left, shoving is probably best even though c/c can have some merits too to induce a bluff from a missed draw. and of course you raise preflop as you did.

i think it's some sort of missed draw more often than someone boating up aces full since 2p should bet flop. just bet 2/3 pot or something for value against trip aces, i guess folding to a raise since that'd prolly be AJ.

edit: oops, button shorty. lol, shove.

is this a clear pfr? i know JJ is considered a 'hi' pair, but not having cards that work with the J's makes it less desirable right?

to me, the 55 is almost worthless with this hand b/c you aren't going to win many flops by using those 5's.

I would limp this behind preflop because most of its value will come from set over set. Considering he has a half pot size bet left, he doesnt have much FE so I wouldnt expect a bluff here often if we choose to c/c. Ship it in on the river and hope he calls with trips aces.

I would pot this flop for sure w/ the blockers, then probably pot a brick turn. At 50plo, they're still very concerned with just flopping the joint, and won't understand that 35 isn't in your range for potting pre.

Raising PF is fine.

But checking on the flop is just terrible.
One of the reasons you raise PF is so that
you can pot bet flops like this one and take it
down.
