PLO4 - Flopped low wrap 3bet pot

Hi, I´ve been playing PLO for about 1 week. I used to play holdem in 2009 and 2010 where I reached stakes like NL400 and nl600 and then quit playing. This year I´m going to have some time to play and decided to take a shot playing PLO, let´s see what happens
I´m very poor skilled on PLO so any constructive reply about any aspect of the hand will be really apreciated.

How standard is this raise PF from MP?
It´s ok to call the 3bet? Should I 4bet?
Flop play?

PL Omaha $0.04(BB) Replayer
SB ($2.77) 53/12 3bet-5
BB ($8.60) 75/23
UTG ($4) 37/14
Hero ($5.41)
CO ($3.04) 61/4
BTN ($7.54) 27/20

Dealt to Hero 6 5 8 7

fold, Hero raises to $0.14, CO calls $0.14, fold, SB raises to $0.60, fold, Hero calls $0.46, CO calls $0.46

FLOP ($1.84) 8 9 Q

[color=red]SB bets $1.75, Hero ?

This is a fold. Lots of hands SB can have that have you drawing nearly dead. You also have CO behind you that has TJ in a lot of hands he would have here. I like your Preflop play, great hand in this spot but not a good flop.

Its a standard raise from MP, although 5678ds is not quite as strong as it first appears. The problem with it is that, although it flops a lot of straight and flush draws, it usually hits the bottom end. That being said, its rarely dominated by a 3betting range so you can call here, particularly with the c/o looking like a passive fish.

On the flop you really have to fold. If either player has JT you are in a world of hurt (6.7% vs JTxx) and you aren't a huge favourite against much. Even against QJxx you are more than a 2 to 1 dog

I would pay close attention to what the SB shows up with if it goes to showdown, if he is potting naked aces (which someone with a 5% 3bet will have a lot after an OOP 3bet) then this is a really bad play/

Well played PF. Now fold flop.

Also, you shouldn't play PLO4; the rake is probably unbeatable. Just play PLO10; the skill level is the same, and you'll have a more realistic chance of beating the rake.

How is rake at plo10 at bb/100?
I've made a quick calculation here and it seems to be between 20 a 25 big blinds/100 at plo4

On stars, over 22K hands I have paid 15bb/100 in rake which is a figure that surprises me. I'm also pretty tight so many people would be paying more

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, no more 4PLO for me.

24k hands 3/4 of the volume at $4PLO

21.85 BB/100 $4PLO

31.55 BB/100 €4PLO

It definitively is a monster in a hu pot, which is why you can 3bet double-suited rundowns pretty much against anyone from any position. i does loose alot of it's strength multiway though.
