First time playing with villain, no real reads, he's 43/23 over 80 hands.

How do you like my line so far? What's our river play? Do we take another stab? Which river cards do you think are suitable to 3barrel here?

i always barrel again here and always get snapped. seems fine but somehow i get called with any top pr,over pr, and any 2 pr hand. sounds ghey but depends on how light he calls down.

I'd check give up turn.

If I betted turn, I'd check fold river. I don't think he's folding anything he called flop and turn with.

check turn check river. dont expect him to bet a bunch on this turn unless he has it and he has two pair a ton. if he's a q he checks back and we have a bucket of equity. dont like 3 barreling these types of boards. only draw and its hard for him not to have a straight when he flats two streets.

I think the buttons stack gives us a pretty solid read. He has something that beats us and isn't going anywhere

I have to disagree with this. I find that if I check turn, villain will bet close to 100% of his range, simply because I'm gonna check/fold here so often. This doesn't apply to me specifically, it applies to general player tendencies. People don't check in these spots to check/call very often.

BTW, please read the other questions guys. The actual hand is one thing, but I'm at least as interested in other scenarios that could've developed.

If the turn doesn't improve me at all, I'm obv check/folding. However, if the turn is a A/K/J/T/9/3/spade/club, I planned on betting. Do people disagree with this? Any cards you'd prefer check/folding over leading out? Why?

Given actual turn card, which rivers do you think are suitable to 3barrel here?

But you barreled instead, right? I don't get it. And if you meant the river where you said turn above, I don't see how a second club on the board is going to help you. Even if you hit two pair, I would bet half-pot. The nuts will raise you, and most other hands will let you showdown, even sets, after you bet all the streets. If you hit your non-nut flush I'd only bet half-pot unless the As hits. As another player said, the player's stack tends to indicate he's decent and isn't going to call you down with too many hands that a K/J/T-3 two pair beat.

By "cards that improve me" I obviously mean cards that improve my equity. Spades and clubs are such cards.

Does noone else have anything to say? I feel it's an interesting spot and worth some discussion.

What's your table image against villain? What stats have you been playing at?

I don't think you can fire again on that river - the reason being that (apart from anything else) he's got a hell of a lot of wheel straights in his range that can't fold it.

I don't mind the flop and the turn c-bets.

Rivers to barrel on? Well not including anything that hits... your flush or two pair, I'd say not many - the board pairing under a Queen?

Turn bet is uber-standard imo to fold out one pair hands. River I don't mind betting $50. It would just depend on history, my table image, whether I expect him to call without a straight and timing tells.
