Villain is pkrtxs fwiw. I think he tried to play somewhat good this session although the stakes are low for him. He played real laggy overall.
I'm pretty sure he knows I 3bet wide in this spot and I think he's capable of calling the flop/turn with hands as T7x/overpairs.

Well pre/flop/turn seem all rather standard, but river is a bit tricky imo. On the one side I'm only repping 77/TT/JJ/89 since there are so few 2xx in my 3bet range and I would almost always check my overpairs behind OTR. OTOH he might view me as a bit weaktight (Iam lol) because he hasn't see me barrel a lot and I've been giving up against his aggression pretty often. Not sure about that though

I like this better than betting ~6. I don't really want to induce anything and this betsizing looks more like a bluff. I'm pretty sure he knows we will be going for thin value most of the time if we bet 6ish.

what u tryin to extract from? QQ? T7? J? AS you say he veiws u as weak tight,,, whats he c/c 2 streets with? betting riv is pretty thin imo

So we have people saying we should bet, and people saying we should check. Not sure what to believe haha. Riverplay is pretty damn important for your winrate though, especially in big pots, because you're either 0% or 100%.

if villain views you as weak tight, and he is laggy then i don't see that there is that much value in betting, however i think you are still really safe to bet small here as despite what ppl may think, players who are going to shove over a weak bet here as a pure bluff nearly 300bb deep are few and far between - i mean it going to happen like 5% of the time, if that.

I hate checking here but it's for the best. He never calls with worse.
