No history or anything, just wondering how I should play this hand. I'm trying to be a bit more aggressive with good draws and various good hands because I've noticed that I think people may be playing too passively and weak at this level. They either check and call too much or check and fold too much IMO.

I am in the BB with AKJ5.
UTG opens to .45 (someone posted).
Button calls and I call (I think it's an alright call for what it's worth. I feel comfortable playing the hand OOP because I'm pretty much going to continue on flops that are good for me and fold on flops that suck. Broadway flops are going to be good, etc. But I can understand folding.)

Flop comes: Q3T
I check, he bet's $1.50 fairly quick and I pot to $6.00. He shoves for 8.05 total and I call the two bucks and change.

Is this the right move?

My thought process in raising was that I could call but I'd have to fold unless I hit my straight. I figured I had decent amount of outs and worth thing I could be up against was a set and I'm not a terrible dog then.

Poor play? I don't know that I can raise fold 4.00 really.

What should I do?

You obviously have the odds to call the all in.

b/c is better than c/r here. With a pair to go with the wrap, the c/r is a more reasonable play, because you're likely a favorite in that case. As played you only have A-high now and you want him to fold.

Yet he's more likely to fold to a bet than a checkraise, because he's going to check behind on a wet bd with his weaker hands. If you just bet then you take it down when he misses. Instead you know he has a hand worth betting and you wait to raise.
