PLO10 - Differing Preflop Action for AQQJ combos PLO10 - Differing Preflop Action for AQQJ combos

Facing a raise in CO from MP, who has a 40% VPIP, raising and coldcalling too much preflop. I think vs. this kind of player and at PLO10, AQQJss with nut suit is a clear 3bet. In reviewing the hand in a solver, I noticed that combos of AQQJ are split between coldcalling and 3bet in this spot in a weird way. my specific combo, AhQhQxJx wanted to cold call, whereas AQQJsss and AQQJr wants to 3bet. My ignorant hypothesis is that the solver is assuming a lot more folding is going on preflop and wanting to realize that equity with an ace + broadway pair hand preflop with those combos with less postflop playability.

I think the important thing here is that against this particular villain I think this combo is fine to 3bet... just curious why the solver is separating these combos as described. Grateful for the input.

From what I can see from the mastermind trainer, AsQsQJ and AsQQJs are mixing between call or raise, with AQQJr fold/breakeven call. The rest are 3bing pre.

I would imagine it's because the single nut suit variants play very well multiway and can call vs squeeze, whereas hands like AQsQJs don't benefit from playing multiway as much. However they play well headsup, especially IP.

Also, 3betting a single nut suit variant facing a 4b we're probably folding a decent amount as we play pretty poorly vs AAXX. That probably explains some of the mixing as well, as we're a lot more happy to 3b/fold a weaker AQQJ variant. 3b/calling AQQJds is standard I would imagine.

As you said, 3bing pure vs this villain is obviously best, maybe outside of AQQJr.
