5 handed. Villain is relatively new to the table, bought in for 4 dollars and we've seen him aggressively GII (pot flop, pot turn in position) w/ 40bb's with QQJ3 (w/ BDFD) on 97354 board.

Onto the hand.

Folds to hero on BTN with AAQ8
Hero raises to 0.30, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: K92 (Pot: 0.62)

BB checks, hero bets 0.62, BB raises to 1.80, hero raises to 6.02, BB raises to 6.87 and is All-in, hero calls 0.85

So I'm pretty new to PLO and don't know how to play this hand, but I would start off by potting it pre, and making the flop bet around 80% pot instead. Anyways, as played, should we just call the raise OTF or is this fine to play it this way?

My bad didn't post stack sizes. Villain has 7.17 and hero covers.

Hero needs to jam over the c/r. BB should be pretty eager to contest the pot since it is heads up and we have a nice hand that has equity vs anything and should be a favourite most of the time.

You played the hand perfectly vs described villain.

However, generally you don't want to just using a flop-sizing of pot. You become face up when you do this if you only do it with really strong hands and you want to be bluffing here (or value-betting with a less strong hand) against the average villain fairly often and using a pot-sizing would make it too expensive for your bluffs.

On a board like this HU anywhere between a 2/3 and 3/4 sizing is good IMO.
