magx, really appreciate the idea of opening a little forum for the group. also, we're looking for exactly the kind of motivated participants like you seem to be.
i see a couple problems tho, mainly concerning the material you plan to study:
- hwang's first book provides some good basics concerning the understanding of "draw physics", but otherwise it's just outdated, too nitty, not worth spending too much time with.
- a more general problem i see is that different people have different learning curves, and this usually hinders the group when trying to go thro literature & videos together. also, we probably miss out on good participants simply because they'd be willing to pick apart & analyze spots/lines/woteva to death but don't see a need in discussing some of the basic articles you mentioned.
i'd rather recommend trying to base group work on topics / scenarios instead, as it will speed up things a little and people can still read books / watch videos if they need to.
everything else looks promising and motivated, so count on me for everything but discussing some of the literature you mentioned. as you're looking for a really small group, you might find enough players who want to do this with you, so good luck
