Live game at local casino, blinds 50 50 (not dollars)
Been raised preflop and i´m in there with 4JQK (no comments about starting hand etc, very juicy players on table)

Flop 3 9 T

preflop raiser, very aggressive maniac(25k+ stack), bets 1600 into approx 2000, i call (11500 stack after call), 3rd guy bets 8000 (covers me)
Maniac folds and flashes T
3rd guy is a very good player and a regular winner at the game so i know he has a good hand. Most likely a set and not the bottom one. Or a huge draw.
If he has a naked set i have 13 outs, else i have 10 nutouts. if he has a huge draw im in trouble.

Being stuck stuck, I decide to gamble and pushes.
I have to put in apx 11500 for the pot that ended up being 30500.

How marginal/bad is my play? Any comments?

what is the actual money? is it tournament?
why is folder allowed to flash cards with you in pot?

as i said no comment on preflop.. i know the hand is bad, but at this table the value in hitting a hand is to big. Lots of of pay off players.

well, saying "no comments about preflop" is kinda silly, as thats the start of the problem with the whole hand. BUt anyway, it all looks like massive spew.

but you are the payoff player in this hand
its better to call vs someone you can really narrow their range with rather than a maniac because of no implied odds and your draw may be dominated

The guy who pushed could have something like AQJT w hearts, which is much more likely than him taking a stand this deep with something like T9xx

I don't know how the pot got to 2000 before the flop if the blinds are 50. I'm guessing it went like limp, limp, pot raise, call call call call call? Your hand preflop is a little weak to be calling the raise with four players left to act behind you.

But I have no idea what the previous posters are smoking, because there is no way you are folding the top wrap to either of those bets.

well considering all the preflop action could it be possible that this very good reg 3rd player just might have AA w/ hearts instead of a set of tens or nines??

The potting geting to 2000 is nothing strange.. 100 straddle almost every hand.. a call and raise tp 500 and 3 callers.
The 3rd guy hasnt AA with hearts thats a certainty. I know his playing style very well and the way it wnet preflop that is not an option

and ill give some advice .. preflop is horrible. and fold the flop to the intial bet of 1600 with everyone else left in the pot. calling off the rest heads up looks fine but the 1600 call is pretty spewy

The problem on the flop is you went bezerk with a wrap when a flush draw was on the board. Stop doing that.

I know i didn´t play the good. The question is how of, EV wise, is the play do you guys think? I´m just here to pick up diffrent thoughts on the hand,... that´s it
