I don't think you are at all close to the top of your range in this spot. I'd argue that you are actually close to the bottom of your range in this spot. Your turn betting range is two pair+ for value, flush draws and some Ace + straight blocker / straight draw cards. On the river, you will have a straight here fairly frequently, I think. You will almost never have worse than 2pr.
I think you can bet smaller on the flop without any hearts.
I like your turn bet a lot.
I think this is fairly easy fold on the river. I think you are at the bottom of your range, and I think people do not bluff in this spot nearly enough to justify a call.
But I agree with you on how this feels at the moment. You've been waiting and waiting for something, and finally, you have the top two, and then this happens. It sucks, and you are anchored to the fact that, on the turn, you did have a super strong hand. This happens to me too.
