This one has been bothering me terribly since yesterday. The CO had just sat down at the table and posted. I've played against him a number of times. He's very loose aggressive, as is the BB. The table has been very aggressive as well, with lots of action.

I have top two with a gut shot. so I pot the flop for protection and to try to get at least one other player out but ideally, I pick up the pot right there. When I pot, the BB calls and the CO shoves, I'm in a tough spot. Obviously, the CO could have QQ or TT but being the player he is, I'd expect him to 3-Bet either of those pre. So, considering the fact that I have QT blockers, it would appear that he's repping a set of 6s and is shoving that. Despite being a LAG, I don't think he'd do this with a draw. On the outside chance that he does have QQ or TT, I'm really in bad shape. the other problem that I'm faced with is that if I shove, I'm fairly confident that the BB is going to call as well.

Should I have stacked off here?

There are situations where we fold top two on the flop w/o a straight or flush being possible, but this is not one of them.

With the pot size so many pair + draw combos he can shove.

If you have him as a LAG he would have Wraps and Backdoor flush draws in his range for shoving this flop. I'd sigh call it off at best up against the wrap ahead now but not by much depending on CO side cards obvious if CO has TT or QQ 66 not looking good.BB is in a bad spot being sandwiched and calling your pot bet with players behind on the flop. he could potentially have some of CO straight outs.


would you ever consider x/r get it in or x/c this flop if you check and got checked to the CO and he potted then comes back to you with BB behind?

Even against only TT, assuming that BB folds, we have only a slightly losing call here (we are getting 2:1 but need 2.5:1).

I guess I'm a bit too timid to get it all in against aggressive players. The other day I was watching a JNandez video and he said one of the best comments that I've ever heard and I'm sure that it'll stick with me: "With competence comes confidence".
