I’m not new to Omaha. I’ve played it quite a bit before but I’m also not very well studied in Omaha either.

I’m starting to play a lot more and wanting to improve my game.

Questions.

Where I play they normally play dealers choice 4,5,6 cards. I normally choose 5 cards. But how should we vary out play for each of the choice ? I find when I play 6 cards I pretty much have to play the nuts.

How do we bluff in Omaha or would this not be great idea. I find people don’t like to fold much even if for example bluffing with the nut flush blocker etc people tend not to fold.

Are hands such as 5678DS(doubled suited) good in multi way pots ? Are they type of hands you would raise with or better to see flops for cheap. Since our flush are never good

Or hands like KK55DS since playing with many opponents our flush draws maybe will be dead ?

Should we be always getting AADS in pre ? Or do our other 3 cards matter in spots like this ?

If anyone can give me some advice or add anything please feel free

Mastmind has a PLO5 course. Not sure about 6 card. I would suspect it's still the same principles, just carried further.

Bluff opportunities come up when you have a straight and flush draw and the board remains unconnected with them both and someone just calls on flush two card flop. And turn. Than half pot river bet or three quarters makes them fold marginal two pairs they may have hit with theyre but fd. Also if you call pots and then a river flush or three bvious straight hits and you bet three quarters pot you could get too two r a set to fold. The first ex someone could have flush draw plus top pair and they don't hit a second pair. Bluffing to me is easier in plo then holdem as you could make more sense of a hand in it. Players get crazy in holdem but if same crazy play happens in Omaha they're still a bit ctim to the run-outs. Lots you see some one bluff or semi bluff and someone just wants to float in holdem very much not the same in Omaha as your still a slave to the run-outs. Floats do happen in plo def. But I'm speaking more of your not as scared of a reraise all in on rivers if you bluff. Unsure if point got across that well but to me that's reasons why bluffing ng in plo is more calculated and can be better masterd and apparent as to when to bluff than in nl.

As to you question a raised pit pre with those D's you can just be of figure it if your ahead or not by the turn. Players scared of boats hitting in same type of pots will reraise flop or turn if flush is out there with the nuts. Players in my experience rarely raise flush boards as a bluff and 5678 D's are good hands to win with flushes draw plus straight draws. More often than not your flush draw is good vs other players heads up or even three way. But again you calculate these hands by player type and how the betting goes. Usually a bug pot isn't won or lost with these hands because of this. Unless your playing raised and three vet pots in heads up action that's only time you have to worry about losing over a hundred bbs with a lesser flush. Usually if you do lose it's kind of just routine in a way and less than 25/75 bbs.
