How is SA that strong this year? I thought they still relied on Duncan/Parker/Ginobili, all of which aren't in their prime anymore afaik?
duncan is old for sure but very very valuable, ginobili was injured and most likely anyway past his prime but then again championships have been won past prime.
parker is 29 and MVP material. (not gonna win it, but def up there is discussions)
plus they have very solid, level headed young players (neal, leonard) and great role players (splitter, bonner)
e: oh and coach popovich, future HoF coach, he should not be forgotten.
his coaching, experience and young talent makes up for a very lethal playoff team

Im rooting hard for the thunder, but have a bad feeling they peaked too early.
it could be that they run out of gas but i don't think so. i wasn't an SA believer in autumn, i am now after watching their games.
i really really like OKC team and believe they will be champs one day, especially with harden and obaka playing very well. if and when they fall, it'll because of westbrook ****ing up in the clutch (or someone stopping durant, but that's not gonna happen)
