seems like the point of the waiting list program is exactly for the times they are not there, so if a good game stars they are higher on the list when they get back to their comp.

Do you think there is room for an online version of pokerstars "The Big Game" ? 5 pros are either monitored by a pokerstars official at their home, or sent to IOM to play online, on a table versus an amateur opponent who wins a competition. He/she plays at stakes of $100/$200 or higher against the pros, and profits above their stack of, say $40,000, ending after a predetermined number of hands (1tabling would be better for the rail?). As with the live version of the show, it would make for some interesting dynamics near the end where the amateur picks their spot to gamble if they have to. It could be webcasted online and presented as an online show with commentary and background of the amateur.
If they succeed it would inspire more players to take shots and say "I could do that"

I would definitely watch it.

hey urubu do u think MPharris and Odds_oddsen would bumhunt and take $5000 from an amtuer player on stars "xxajwxx and just collude to win the money ? just asking because I find it funny how they both went all in having held the worst possible hands.

Oddsen is known for being newish yt mpharris is from ozland who knows ,maybe not colluding but was fairly obvious something fishy was going on at THAT site. don't think josem cares much for corporate et al randomness in the rng after all I did go all in with pocket aces .11k plo loss all the money I had on stars at the time. preety ironic these guys just sat in the game ,im dealt aces up and they take the whole $5k and bamm GONE

There's no chance of that happening mate, Odd_Oddsen is a very good and well respected player. Sometimes in PLO you can go all in with hands that look trashy and still have a good chance to crack someone's aces.

well either one of three things happened then mate , either I got hacked someone sent some malware on me ,or my ie settings got hijacked and program got decimated for stars .When I move in for over 10k pot with 2 pros on pokerstars with aces I shouldn't lose. however is possible due to rng randomness and varience lol.

I just thought those players werw acting weird ,I was actually given so many coolers during my highstakes plo sessions , lost and won but this particular spot got me worried because they both shoved over in on me together..plus at the time I lost all other tourneys including the wpt main event sattlite $5

I don't see how that translates to being hacked - it sounds like you just hit an unlucky streak. It's true that you shouldn't lose when you go all in with aces against a trashy hand, but sometimes you will, that's the nature of the game we all love.

Hey karron, i'll go through everything you said and try to give you some answers. Would they bumhunt an unknown high stakes player who sits down with 5k, of course. Would they collude to win the money? I would say with a very high percentage close to 100 with odds involved no. Odd's has been playing FOREVER and is very well respected with no suspicion of anything like this ever happening before, plus his account runs like god and never loses, he would be giving money away if he was going to collude. I've lost plenty of times when a new table starts and im dealt aces, if you have played alot of hands of the game you know it happens. Your never a huge favorite. There have been different times in my millions of hands where I have thought similar to you that something fishy must be going on with certain players (l0ve2playu) but really I was just being a fish with that mentality.

As far as malware/ie settings hijacked go obviously with online poker you can never say never as we have all learnt in the past but with pokerstars excellent repuation in this department and considering the two opponents you are playing against have been playing on Stars forever without any sort of accusations like this in the past it is highly unlikely. Why do you think the players were playing weird? Because a recreational player to them sat down with 5k and went all in within the first few hands at the table? Sometimes pro's will gamble it up in a spot like this with a wide range of hands before the table fills up with st1ckmans.

Why does it seem extremely odd that you would lose 5.1k more on the site after you already lost 5k in that hand with odds/harris?

So, my buddy finally received his 2012 WCOOP bracelet after almost a year (way to go, support guys). He's got one from 2010 as well, so comparison was in order. Looks like Stars are in deep trouble, saving from bracelets now.

Hey you know ,being a big part of what I said maybe taken in wrong context but I just didn't understand why those 2 players after 1 minute of being on that table jumped in and bamm very 1st hand got levelled into giving my whole 5k stack away.

I mean I found that much frustrating. Was I colluded on ? who knows I mean they both had a preety decent hand themselves but I couldn't quite get over the fact It was the very 1st hand of the table and bamm there goes my 5k .

I played a lot of pots against benny spindler and others and won and lost ,but I wasn't a regular player by any means .I had just won the hot44 turbo and took that down looking to double my winnings and do well at plo levels .my mistake was jumping in at the wrong stakes so quick and being all I think I can win mentality ."if that makes sense"

stars need to issue temp-30 min bans, as i see its the only solution for this problem. if they start doing this even for one day it will never happen again
