There are probably a bunch of busto rakeback grinder who have way more VPP than the most highstakes player. So to them the watch is something nice while some just buy a 30k watch on some random trip

Not super pretty for sure. That red logo is out of place imo. Give it a greyish colour like the TAG logo and will be much better.

personally I think pokerstars should absolutely make the logo optional. This gift is supposed to be a reward not a walking advertisement. Some people might enjoy seeing the logo, but for others it could be a deal-breaker if they just want to go about their non-poker life without seeing the pokerstars emblem whenever they check the time.

It's not like they give it for free. They want to do blog post, pics and what not and give it publicly at one of their ept event. Just meuh. Too much fame involved for a not so good looking watch with a cheesy logo on it :/

don't force me to be a promo whore if i want to wear my gift. ps will get plenty of publicity for it without the logo. all the things Mig said, not to mention word of mouth just by people asking "where'd you get that watch?" or "how much did you pay for that watch?"

Basically every physical thing in the stars store comes with ps branding. Little nice story about stars legendary customer service: I bought the personal engraved business card holder from the fpp store as a gift for gf. I made sure to check the picture in the item description to make sure it's free of any logos and sure enough when it came through the mail it had a bigass stars spade engraved on it along with the initials. So since I felt misled by the picture I made a complaint via email and got a full fpp refund. Stars sure know how to generate customer goodwill (though with the sickening amts of rake being lifted u would hope that to be the case at least)

It's a pretty valid point too. If I get that watch with the big ass logo. I'm not going to mention it, nor wear it. If it didn't have the logo I'd wear it and be proud to say I got it by being a long time customer. just my 2 cents.

That being said I'm not a watch wearer, a 100$ is just as good in my eye as a 2k watch. I'm not sure I would be able to put a price on any watch you guys would show me.
