For heads-up Stars could make a "home" and "away" rule, you cant start 1 on 1 tables unless you played more hands vs people already sitting, or something similar where you have to join others half of the time (play equal number of games on your own pitch and away).

I like the idea of anonymous hu tables but when you sit you get to choose a screen name to play under for that session, make it semi koth and give it it's own tab, if fish like this idea it could kill off alot of bumhunting while still offering people the chance to game select if they wish.

Make a leader board of all time greatest earning sn's in buyins (aka, won 100bb's) so it's not limited to HS's, obviously you would have to be able to retain your sn somehow to play for the title or play under your original SN, but it's only something i recently thought of so it's not perfect.

I think this or variations of this would work quite well.

Pretty sure it will be optional, but on by default. You can still table select with the list of tables to the right of the groups, and players at the table below it. The goal i believe is just to simplify the lobby, instead of an excel spreadsheet of 100s of tables (and dozens of 1 person waiting), it's 6 or so groups. Click once and you are playing the 'most-full' table

My guess is table-selectors will just disable it, but as a default it will make the lobby much more attractive to new players looking to jump in to poker, and that's a win-win for everyone

It is definitely optional. I remember them talking about this during the meeting. I think it will be very good overall unless you are a regular that fish like to play HU.

just wanted to post about ****ty coward hu regs at stars,then read the posts above. its just so ****ing annoying noone plays vs regs. (i know this post could be anyones who are wanna play with anybody, just got upset for not finding any 1table+ game.)

If there was king of the hill there would not be a problem

Have select number of tables that can be open at each limit without playing, say:

1/2 and below 12 tables
2/4 - 5/10 8 tables
10/20 - 25/50 5 tables
50/100 and above maybe like 3 tables

If you don't play somebody that sits you use lose your table

^ This would actually be good for pokerstars and good players

For bad players/bumhunter/grimmers it would obv be v bad for them
