My opening ranges are definitely very well defined, 3 bet I try and adjust by opponent but it's not so easy when 8-tabling Zoom. I just try and play solid for the most part, probably have pretty good fundamentals but miss a lot of profitable exploit spots. And I'm definitely capable of going crazy occasionally, but it hasn't happened for a while

do you have position dependent opening range or you just have a flat open range from utg to button?
Would you mind sharing it? in the big lines I mean

Obv. is position dependent, think UTG is something like 11% and BTN close to 50, not gonna share any more!

I asked bc as you 8 table zoom it might be difficult to have to manage 6 different ranges and keep them so steady.
My preflop game really needs alot of improvement. I have to work on it properly and condition myself in a way I do not to have to think about it too much. I'm way too loose.
What is the way to get there? Write down ranges for each position and stick to them?

Get a pre-flop chart that works and stick to it!

If I'm not mistaken, it's done by ticking Settings -> Advanced -> Cash Games: Ask to post blinds when a new game starts. That's if you want to be asked to post all the time (which is annoying).

In any case, if you choose 'Sit out next BB at all tables' in the session options (a green arrow icon at the top of the table), no more big blind will be auto-posted, but after you sit back in, blinds will be auto-posted again.

To skip a BB at an individual table in PS7, you have to click 'Show all options' (iirc) next to the 'Sit out next hand' options (at the bottom left above the chat box), then the 'Sit out next BB' option will show up, tick it.

Stars' client is traditionally so user-unfriendly, but it's improving, already has automatic custom avatars

A big thing they yet have to do is to make new tables open with the same size as the last opened one. Even iPoker does that, but Stars keep opening 800x600 tables every time when I increase my table count (e.g. the 14th table, as I've never played at more than 13; thankfully, they remeber table positioning so open the first 13 at the right size).

While we are making only this one change this year, it follows a substantial review of the PokerStars VIP Club conducted earlier this year. We are considering more significant changes for implementation in 2016. Details will be available in the second half of next year.
Well, at least the news has come out fast enough for us to start making plans for 2015 and turned out better than was expected.

Does anyone know if it's possible to create multi-monitor layouts at stars (where the tables are placed)? I kinda tried but imo it applies the layout only on my other screen, which leads to the question how to select the screen for which the layout is applied on?

Open up X number of tables.

Manually move them around on the two monitors where you want them.

Open up the layout menu, go to manage layouts and save the configuration.

The next time you open up tables, just make sure that layout you created is the active one, and new tables will open up in the correct spots. If i is active, but tables still aren't in the correct spots, choose the "apply active layout" option and they should move to the right spots. If it is not active, just click the dual monitor layout you wish to use and any open tables will move to that configuration.

The apply to active monitor only option is applicable when using stack, tile options (there might be one more, I can't recall). It will only make that change in the monitor where your mouse is, which is basically the table you apply the change too, and all subsequent tables on that monitor. The second monitor would remain unaffected. If you uncheck that option, it will tile across two monitors (at least it should) but it will choose the size and I don't believe it will allow overlap.

Ok, thanks for comprehensive tutorial. I'm ensmartened now and feel like I can use the function properly! Comes in handy when I start to add the number of tables!

Hi guys!

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask this, but I can't figure out how to enable "stay at the table until the end of the hand" feature for PS zoom poker. I think I've seen it in some of the videos and it really makes sense to be able to see the end of the hand after folding.
Can someone tell me how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Interesting, just received a small refund (< $100) from Stars, anyone else? I've hardly played anything other than Zoom PLO 100-500 for at least 6 months, would have thought the Zoom games were somewhat immune from collusion or am I naive here?

edit: guess it could have been MAing.

I got that aswell, $90~. Iirc we have probably put in the same amount of volume at the zoom PLO tables during the time of interest, so it makes sense that the amount is equal. Have you read the e-mail too? Thoughts?
