Oh well. As Russian preference players say, 'cry more - cards love tears'. As a result, we have 3 Mission Weeks, tyty (the top Advanced tier is 500 VPP a week, gives an entry to a $25K all-in shootout, so, I presume, $20-25 equity in each of the 3 weeks as there are normally ~10K players in Goldstar freerolls; Supernovas are ****ed as usual ; a big downside is that clearing a pending bonus is delayed until the goal is met).

This is a pretty good promo for the casuals. Free money is always good.

We prefer casuals to do Supernovish volume, don't we? There are many of them, not only myself, who multitable for several hours every weekend and sometimes on weekdays too, spew at all their tables and challenge everyone HU4rolls. $25 a week is just too shallow a reward to them.

Are there some calculations done on PLO rakeback % if you start the year as Platinum and finish close to 200k vpps? Any thread on this?

I think these weekly mission mtts are great. Being in Asia, all the VIP tourneys are at horrible hours. So these all in gambuls are efficient. I cashed $200 in the first one.

Anyone notice both winners were from China?

Is there any option that I can look at all the big pots played during my session in HM1?

When I look at my hands I only see how much I lost/won but I want to have a look at the other big pots played and maybe take some notes(without checking every hand I played). Or is the only option to search every player I am interested in in my db?

you should be able to filter for minimum pot size in BB, is that what you're looking for?

Dear fellow players, I'd like to invite you to the civil funeral of my Stars account (or at least a lethargic lullaby) on the 1st of December (that's when 500 out of the last 891 VPPs are going to be earned).

My relationships with Stars haven't worked out from the very beginning, and I've also realised that I won't be able to grind on this piece of soft that e.g. doesn't allow tables to take focus from another table - I mean once and not every second - but not other applications like PT4, doesn't show the hand strength before its end and doesn't highlight which two of opponents' cards play on showdown and has many other features that require a mod to be fixed. I can't be bothered, I just want more h/hr with less hassle and of course less net rake.

For the sake of respect for me, those whose main stake is 1/2+ are advised to refrain from taking either of the two seats on my right at a non-Zoom 6-max table and 3-betting or squeezing me IP in more than 15% of eligible cases.

You're welcome to advise the details of the ceremony. I'll then finalise them in my current PG&C thread next weekend. Most likely it will be just a normal ante $10 grind with a $27 or $33 Omania mixed in to spend the FPPs, but of course you can advise me what to play, as soon as the BI is below $100.

You could catch me up tonight too as I'll have to be playing (there's a VIP freeroll on iPoker at 8 PM GMT) and shall likely attend MicroMillions-096 and some ante $10 cash too, but you might miss me as I'm likely to reg late or bust fast.

I tried to understand the minds of Stars regs but it seems I'll never become one in spirit. Here are some mentality differences I can spot.

Stars regs like fame more than money and value those who beat the most regs more than those who earn the most money.

As a particular case, they value multiple SNs more than Goldstars (and perhaps Platinumstars more than WH VIP6 like me though they're about equivalent) though the difference in RB% is negligible. They like to exhaust themselves for 10-12 months by earning SNE while they could have not worse RB% somewhere else from month one.

As a clinical case, they strive to get a pro contract, which is of no help to the community because they aren't informed about their bosses' plans and not responsible for them. Or they go to staged player meetings and then disappear because of the NDA.

They count rake in VPP/hand, which is a bit tilting as I'm slow at dividing by 0.055 (multiplying by ~18) to get rake in $/100.

They demand each other's screen names (and feel insulted if not getting them) to be able to berate each other for life, which is not an issue on networks because the shame can be easily avoided - aliases can be easily changed by switching to another skin and MA'ing is normal.

They think that the Rational Group are a monopolist in online poker and there's no poker outside them, whereas they're holding only like 60% of the market and many other places offer tables to sit at with enough fish, reasonably secure cashiers and fair rules (that have to be read, but it's not a big hassle), which is basically all a cash player needs (the size of the field is not as big a factor as in tourneys), especially if only the needed minimum is stored in the poker account, which isn't a hassle too.

GL with raking fortunes to your favourite corporate machine.

My dream of marking myself as a fish won't come true on iPoker, but Stars players have got this opportunity with the last update. If this has happened to you and you don't like it that the client has made you green, open the hand replayer and remove your colour code there.
