@napsus, i play 120-150k h/month atm, and i feel there's def more room while still being in comfort zone. especially if I would make a grinding and life schedule.

I mean, stars is by far the best software (even FTP after playing some k hands doesnt even come close imo) so I dislike the thought of moving up to 200PLO and playing all these ****ty softwares, plus dealing with way bigger $ swings
sne would be great $/software comfort value, and i'm playing for a living anyway.

i say go for it, just have a testing period before final decision, and read godlikeroy's blog about sne, golden material

@keevo, I'm going for SNE atm. I play 4tables zoom100 and 6-12 plo200 reg/deep tables, this will give you enough vvp's/hour to make sne. I think with 2 zoom50 you'll have to put to many hours in.

i will play 4tbls 100, 4tbls 50 zoom. just tested, and had 540 VPP/hr which is decent.

Elglado 12tbling next to 4tbling zoom is just insane!

no I do 6 in chill mode and usually no more then 8, but you know you can do 12 extra. But you'll def loose too much focus.

Thats definitely doable, thats 6hr per day, 6 days a week

Though it might be more effective to play 4 zoom100 and 4 normal 200

50 zoom is so fn painful

i think you would be better off just decreasing your risk aversion and playing 200plo with 100 zoom

xD

50 zoom is laughable, but in a good way!

$200 6m on stars is ridic tough if you dont tableselect, and tableselecting would mean big energy effort. I think im better off crushing 50, hourly and SNE wise

+ smaller $ swings

whatever works for you, but as someone that did it last year....

i would say that the energy of tableselecting 200 6m is going to be far less than the energy of having to play all those extra hours at 50 zoom over the course of the year

also you will feel the $ swings less as you will be making so much more in rb, plus you know you could just run good haha

but yeah its w/e, just my 2 cents. i really dont want you in my games anyway lol

Guys, as you've mentioned it, I'm curious as to your observations on 50 Zoom versus higher and lower.

if ego was non-existent i would much rather stick to having a nice winrate at 50plo and pursue SNE which over a year for someone who plays pro VERY easy to do rather than play 200 regularly with less hours but more thinking, bigger swings, tougher players and annoying changing tables from the short stack all stars at that limit

some people ego though doesn't allow for that to happen but other factors could include that if you are playing 200 and doing well than much easier to potentially move up from there but for some that is not much of a desire (jealous of this) and those types are the ones who can comfortably grind out lower stakes but ultimately never really get that good at the game (do end up with bunch of money tho)

Ok so now Run it Twice is enabled on all PLO tables $0,25/0,50 and above. Thoughts?

Definitely that ^

Also make sure to plan for days off, unexpected time away, all that jazz. It might be 5.5hrs a day if you play every day of the year but probably will need to be more like 7-8hrs a day if you want a bunch of time off, so base your practice and expectations off that figure. Do all that and then still plan to finish by the end of November. Then you'll be fine.

I recommend keevo to read the latest posts in the PLO and life balance thread - all of world's money can't be earned anyway. With a $20K+ roll, it may be worthy to start a less draining business

I want the fish in napsus's avatar start swimming around.

Also, just realized that his avatar is a perfect metaphor for the fish state of mind.

It's OK as long as it's fun, but you must have started really adoring Zoom to go for this crazy exhausting volume chase. Your past strategy of playing normal tables at euro sites (with cashback % not much worse than SNE) appeals to personally me much more, and earlier itt you admitted loving normal tables more. Take fatigue into account, it may affect your earning ability later (if you think in monetary terms).
