A few reasons, IMO. Firstly, I think if you treat poker as a livelihood, you have to maximize your value sooner rather than later. It's a volatile career and if you play full time, you're more or less killing your resume in the process.

Secondly, if you don't move up, you don't know if you could double your earnings with the same amount of work (and risk if you are sufficiently rolled).

On blackberry, so don't have ptr,but before tshgst ever played HU he was a 100 6m reg afaik. Never once saw him get it in bad.

It was obv an exxageration, but I've played WAY more with him then anybody itt ainec. He just doesn't get it in light. He play super solid and does't tilt so he continuously gets it in good against figh and aggro regs.
