Yeah but unless you move up, you're not gonna make it to nova playing 20k hands per month.

I certainly do not plan on staying at 25...

Ill play what my online BR allows me to...

But until the end of the year im not pushing it..

plus, I can handle 24 tables... Ill mix in some 6max NLHE crap from time to time...

Today was nice, had like 12 PLO25 20-50 tables going. put in almost 5K hands.

dang, you're right. fpppro says plo25 6m is .25vpp/hand.

so 20k is only 5k vpp per month.

anything less than 30k hds/mth would require plo50

i'll be going for SN as well, mostly PLO50 to begin with and PLO100 at least when certain someone is playing. at the end of the year naturally only PLO200 and above.
I'll try to grind platinum this week.

I played when it was all said and done yesterday just over 5000 hands. I ended up mixing a little bit of PLO50 tables in with my PLO25.

I have issues.

From memory, I believe Hwang wrote in his first book that after playing a few thousand hands at a table, one should feel comfortable trying out the preflop raise.

He seems like the right guy to take LAG advice from

the dude has some good points in his books, well worth the 25 dollars per book in my opinion. not saying he's the best omaha author out there, but he explains some concepts clearly and well. has helped me a lot.
i always read books and articles with skepticism and would not take his words as an absolute truth.
