villain was very spewy+straightfw, particularly so in this session. he'd never risk going for c/r with trips or better in this spot when he'll surely get value from my overpairs and hands like the one i had by betting. with the craziest dynamics i've been part of in a long time, instigating was pretty standard. QT is the only hand we don't beat, and it's mindboggling he bluffs with it in the first place. obviously my default is to check behind 99.9% of the times.

You're playing at PS and saying this? I'm pretty sure that PartyPoker's VIP program offers better rakeback equivalent for any volume than Stars' VIP does. And on top of that under the table deals give you rakeback in addition to those rewards.

I think euro networks have a pretty bad timing for ending their rakeback wars... two years ago FTP and PS were both around and regs in general had better winrates (less rakeback dependent). Now there would actually be much more players interested in lower rake or higher rakebacks, but the euro sites are going exactly the wrong way. Ongame introduced Essence, and iPoker will introduce similar system in a few months. Also seems like PP doesn't have any CG promos for January, so they're probably going the same way.

We really need a competitor for PS soon or the whole online poker is gonna be ****ed, but I don't really see how any current european network could do it, unless iPoker's new raking method is significantly less worse (and more transparent) than Essence and their new software is a big improvement over the old one.

I'm hoping the new FTP would become popular, as it's probably the most realistic choice to challenge PokerStars, but still a little bit sceptic about it. They've got pretty bad reputation after black friday, plenty of recreational players have heard that FTP cheated it's customers, is illegal or something like that. Even if they don't keep the FTP name it's gonna be hard for a new site to compete with PS and big networks. But if they have any kind of success (say they become one of the top5 networks), I'll definitely start playing there as long as they have EU license.

Yeah, with lots of people angry/unsatisfied with PokerStars right now and as their SN/SNE is yearly based there's lots of regs deciding right around these weeks if they'll play at PokerStars for the next year or change to smaller networks. If PP/ONG/iPoker had any business sense at all, they'd have the best promotions in Jan/Feb... instead (especially PP) seems to be doing the complete opposite.

What did they do? Last I checked the NoiQ vip program still seemed quite good and flat rakeback deals still work like they used to.

Before trying IPN I actually consider re-checking if Entraction is still rigged like it was, but the lobby seemed even worse than before. Seems like there is hardly any PLO running these days, and even NL games are pretty much dead above NL200. Does this have something to do with screwing the RB deals like you said or what?

it's equivalent of what stars is doing, "robin hooding" the player pool. everyone had the option to keep to 30% flat rb, but not all the fish and regs reacted so now they are pissed off. i realize that that thread is not very informative of the entire player pool, but at least gives some hints what's going on.

my problems have been with the freezing client.

they are doing gradually improvements on the software but there ís still plenty to be fixed. like lobby minimizing when you click a table open or the general lobby functionalities (a selected table being deactiveated right after you click to see who's sitting) still are there, among others.

it's too bad, i actually like entraction the most of the euro networks, but the traffic is getting slow and i don't feel like they give 100% with the software development.

hopefully the big games that have been running lately will turn the tide.

They still have the freezing client problem? That's a much bigger issue if it's still as bad as it was half a year ago. If they really haven't been able to fix that yet, it has probably lost them a lot of players.

We have a new gambling legislation here in Denmark, which starts 1of January 2012.
The new legislation is about paying 20 percent in taxes to the danish state.
So all interested skins and network needed to apply for a license.

Almost everybody got it. Then everybody said its ILLEGAL to offer RB deals in Denmark.
All of a sudden boss media starts offering 30 percent RB in 2012.

I recently played on 24hpoker and i liked it. I mean i played and have earned like 3k euro in RB/bonuses , by playing SSPLO .

24h poker says now its illegal to offer RB and have got rid of it, while some of the others on entraction still does.

Dunno where to play next year ? Never going back to ipoker i can tilt 10.000 buy ins away just by opening the software.

This is bull**** and sick. They offer there Instant loyalty crap, without further explaining how it works - and how it should compensate for the lack of RB.

A lot of the danish players already wrote on the biggest Danish forum that they are leaving 24hpoker if they dont come up with anything.

Then i get x $ for all the points ive earned. But they are controlling it.
For instance i receive 500 rb euro, then two days after without playing i receive further 200 euro which is called user transfer.
They make a lot of "user transfers" which is i think is the way the system works or ?

So i guess i get like 45 percent or something like that.

Now with the new law i cant see how i ever can earn more with the loyalty system.
Furthermore the loyalty system never existed in my software ?

e: if entraction offers instant loyalty i guess stars will offer VIP as well. maybe the trend is going away from flat rakebacks and you really need to grind earn your higher % of rb.



it's nowhere near as bad as it was half a year ago, but it still freezes sometimes. happening again after the latest software update.

i'm not a fan of ongame/ipoker software for various reasons, microgaming cards are too small and traffic sometimes lacking, entraction freezing/traffic problems...it's hard for me to understand why these networks don't put more money on the tech development. well, i guess one thing is that they are paying out quite a lot of the rake, but still it would make a lot of sense long term.

It seems that RB isnt that illegal afterall, but just an excuse for covering up the 20 percent in tax to the danish state, by not offering RB.

They do offer it, but it should be a bit worse than before. I dont have the exact numbers yet but they def. have decreased value too !

BTW is it possible to play on 30% flat rakeback and gain VIP levels for that loyalty system? The loyalty system itself looks pretty good, only problem being that you don't get **** before you reach levels 7+.

Highest level (which should be quite easy to reach) gives you 40% rakeback, and other rakeraces and promotions in many skins give you 10-30% on top of that. Most under the table flat deals are 45-60%.

Friend used to rakerace at Entraction playing mostly superturbo SNGs, and he got 90-110% rakeback each month with a legit deal (loyalty system, sng leaderboard and rakeraces)

I dunno about this stupid system, like i said - there NEVER existed a loyalty button in my client. There is no where i can finde PLayer based points or anything. I have looked through it like 1000 times. The screenshots they have in their promotion, i dont have anything in my software which looks like that or have those functionality's. Nothing close to it.

how much do you need to rake before you reach this level ?

from the 16 of december to the 31 of december i have raked 1851 euros. most of that was in last week .

im currently in top 20 in the rake race but im not gonna play anymore for the year. i got in top 20 by playing 3 days hehe.

so i will receive 555 euro in flat RB. i will receive between 350-500 euro in rake race. + i will get the mysterious user transfer for around 200-300 euro i believe.

I should get around 1200 euro i believe for this period where i raked 1851 euro.
could it be its 64 percent RB?
