Ok, thanks for letting me know.

Btw guys, I noticed that when I have no bet/call/fold buttons, that I can make them reappear by typing in chat. So now you don't have to worry about being folded when you see that bug when you have a premium holding.

I was just playing and then I got a message that I will be dqed in 1 minute after my active hands are over due to maintenance, but then they just ended all of my hands in the middle and the games are still running?

Fml guys. #whenwillitstop

What is the time in the poker client when you keep having issues? Is it what would be considered a normal maintenance window? (ie. early in the morning for where the servers are located?)

I play around 6pm EST and with the exception of a disconnect earlier this week and the occasional hiccup from the latest software update, haven't had many issues.

does it happen to ur pre holdings, that the table freeze and when the buttons appear again ur cards already folded? or is this unique for betfair?

This happens to me both pre and post. When it happens post, it looks like the table is frozen and I'm waiting for the next street to be dealt. When it happens pre it's also like the action is frozen on me waiting to see action buttons. It's possible that this only happens from EP. In both cases, if you notice it and you just type something into chat, it is immediately resolved.

I have a feeling it has to do with a feature they added where you see status messages on the table "Welcome to the table" etc.

yeah i realized that chat thing too(after a while ), also im not 100% sure but u might be right with bein utg. it happens atleast 10times after the client update. i wrote support with screenshots today, so i hope i get some in return, even tho it only happen with trashhands.

on a sidenote: is it it possible that way more people have trouble with disconnections after the update? to me it looks like that at every table atleast 1 guy is disconnecting.

I'm definitely more aware of disconnects now because of the status messages on the tables, so maybe there are more, but hard to say as there always have been dqs.

I didn't send support screen shots, but I described the problem to them and this was their response:

Which is laughable. I mean Firefox is my standard browser anyway, but I didn't even bother to respond, because it didn't look like it would be productive. I mean I guess Playtech has to handle this right? This update is presumably a centralized issue, because it seems to be happening on multiple skins. I just hope it's being reported properly.

I can't stand that feature.

Why is my computer generated self welcoming me to the table and making sure that I speak in English?

I would prefer if the message said "Hell Yeah!!! It's time to rip some money out of the clutches of these noobs!!!! Please ensure your insults and or back talk are in English or asterisks!!!!!"

Have rifled off Ipoker back to pokerstars after moving there for a month or so. The games are undoubtably better but the software is shambolic. I am relentlessly being timed out, having my screen freeze etc. Also the fact that in online terms I'd consider myself a recreational but find in hard to impossible to get any action at mid/high stakes HU just makes the place a bit of a joke. Worth playing if you're in the states of course and if you're more patient than me but stars software just too good.

They did an update about a month or two ago, and everything was perfect. I went over a month without a single issue. Now they release another update and we're almost back to square one.

I don't disconnect, but as others have alluded to, the game freezes and the bet and fold buttons disappear. These are moderately important.

But is this a government mandate? I can't find anything on this on the fly. There are a lot of countries with gambling monopolies that do not disallow online poker to other businesses. An example of this is Austria.

Jeeezzzz, will be moving to pokerstars as soon as I'm able to do SNE there.

I didn't ask for any refunds whatsoever. I only pointed out that there are some bugs in their program.

It's in no way ridic, they're indeed not responsible for compatibility with 3rd party soft. So you'll have to adopt some rituals to make them work together. E.g. on my computer, no iPoker client will start when PT4 is running (the client is then only present as a process in the Task Manager, which I have to kill to restart the client, and then it reinstalls some corrupt files and I have to reconfigure the Widget Bar table theme manually), so I made it a habit to close PT4 prior to starting an iPoker client.

Bottom line: deal with it!
