It will however take a lot to develop reads and tell good ones from bad; or are you implying that any reg is to be avoided (I mean, in favour of tables with more fish) on Ongame because there are too few of them who haven't made a switch to a bigger network?

It would be helpfull to post some SNs. Ptr isn't accurate in ongame (misses almost half the hands) and because of the swings of the game, you can't expect any given player to play his A-game in a period of a week. I was surprised by the fact there are some great lags in ongame, whereas in every other network regs who are solid winners in midstakes tend to be very tight pre and post.

FYP Look for tables being started by fish and you'll be fine , esp now, when there are no 20-100 bb tables that were the majority of those started by fish.

Too few tables to game select on ongame, but then again if you are playing ongame, I guess you also play other networks. If you have a 200+ table on ongame, chances are it's better than a table on any other network.

I can count on one hand regs that play me I'd actually consider "good" (without some glaringly obvious leak I mean).

As for ipoker, that's correct, they would need some game starter perks IMO. Similar to stars, if you sit alone on a 6max table, it insta fills up when a recreational sits you, and you sit alone the rest of the day

who are these regs in you opinion? I have been playing ongame quite a bit. granted ongame higher stakes games are pretty good, but they run very infrequently, i think i got in only 100 hands at 10/10 last month.
I think good are kollegan, rushovic, angelinacab, lagtard, camicie. armandmoulin, rockey27 mediocre. most of the others are rather bad but not that bad that you can gain a lot against them.

I start at least 2-3 tables (sometimes more) almost every session at ipoker. Im hungry for lots of tables but it usually takes too long time to get in to 10-16tables.

Btw, is 16tables the maximum allowed right?!

Yes, 16 is the maximum. Allowing more would result in tons of timeouts on this piece of soft, you know.

As a friendly reminder, Ladbrokes are moving to iPoker tonight, so 1) be ready for an iPoker downtime (perhaps grind for milestone hands at Stars instead), 2) I'm under an impression that Laddies will give both the MPN welcome bonus (that will migrate to the iPoker acct) and the iPoker welcome one, i.e. up to a total of ~€2500, to today's signups (who deposit while yet on the MPN and then the second time when already on iPoker) so hurry up to make an acct if you're lacking one (through you know whom, hehe) before it's too late!

You mind to PM me to exchange who you are? I think I would rate those guys more harshly, but that's just me.

From my limited experience, I only agree for kollegan. The rest have tons of exploitable leaks. Armand Moulin?? The guy plays the worst shorstack strategy I've ever seen. He jams preflop with crap all the time.
In my opinion, good are zoolzool68, handsinpants(very tight and predictable but rarely see him do any mistep), jeltsin31 and sjohnny200( his preflop game is ridiculus but has an edge post).

I think Lostinbat has a uncommon game, but with some work it's def possible to do something about it.

A-a-and Ladbrokes' iPoker points-to-cash return is capped at 41.25% and points have to be hoarded for ages to get the max value...

Edit: oops, I didn't see point-to-pending-bonus conversion (at more lucrative rates like at WH) first, it's well hidden (shown in the shop only)... no tilt then, it's capped at 49.0625% (the maximum return requires raking $6400+ within 30 days after buying the shop bonus).

I knew it would be a better idea to come to this thread than work it out myself, thanks c00n.

Seems like bad value right c00n?

Edit: Just noticed 100% deposit bonus upto £1200 is only valid for NEW deposits to Ladbrokes, so that rules out anyone with an account already

I think Ladbrokes extra value will be through affiliate races.

The migration FAQ page at their old site and their pre-move newsletter to existing customers (leaked in the MSNL Micro regs thread per my request) said that all players could get the £1200 bonus after the move. Their new site probably doesn't take old (Microgaming) customers into account. I'll ask them explicitly, but giving a new 'welcome to iPoker' bonus on the first post-move deposit seems not to violate the network rules, as Betfair did issue the reload bonus for Ongame immigrants identical to the FDB for new (iPoker) signups a year ago.

I see no reason for Laddies not to offer it to retain customers, especially given that the VIP program gives poor returns until after one pays more rake than needed to clear the FDB. Even if one gets both welcome bonuses and clears them in full, the total return from the bonuses and the VIP program is less than 60%. (At other skins it's around 60% too for whores.)

Or have you already tried to deposit today and failed to get it?

If they don't offer it, then meh, on to the next skin...

I hope so too, and don't forget VIP freerolls (perhaps an extra couple of hundred dollars a month for the top guys, judging by race leaderboards of the old Laddies). I was referring not to the total value but the one specifically from the point exchange because it's a network (its recreational tier's, to be exact) rule that no VIP point converter can return more than 50%, but most skins of course strive to offer close to that limit to their top players.

The total value is expected to be similar to what other skins offer, though I'm not sure which affiliates will succeed at getting races for January. (I'm not talking about the ongoing December promos - the month is almost over.)

No I haven't tried, was just basing it on their webpage. In the terms and conditions it says

This offer is only valid to depositing players making their FIRST deposit at Ladbrokes Poker

Doesn't state it being iPoker specific.

Obviously we are all waiting for you to work out specific numbers when clearing the FDB, to see whether its even worth switching skins for the FDB, thanks in advance c00n

As I wrote above, the combined value from the FDB and the VIP program is usually merely ~60% (e.g. 59% on the first $6800 of rake at Laddies, or 62% on the first $9K at Paddy - note that at the latter the stay is longer than the FDB as it's optimal to buy shop bonuses by points earned during the welcome one - their clearing requirements are easy).

So hopping skins doesn't make much sense if you're a high volume player, unless your race has been discontinued or you see a way juicier affiliate race outside.

Spending the remainder of points is usually a pain when leaving an iPoker skin, results in a significant loss of value. (I've lost tons of money, worth 5% of total rake, by tilt-exchanging WH points twice, ready to leave, instead of hoarding them longer.)

I'll add it as a section in the Pooh-Bah if you wish, but now I need a sleep

Well, one of the affiliates advertising on 2+2 has this VIP level upgrade for all Betfair signups, but I'm skeptical about the longterm health of their races so am not holding my breath yet.

And thanks for confirming my hypothesis - now I know for sure we once met at a PLO50 (iirc) table where you bragged about this upgrade too Nice catch!
