(currently there are shortie-infested 30-100 bb NLHE and 20-100 bb PLO tables). 20-50 bb shallow tables will still exist but shorties will no longer have a math advantage over 100 bb players. Also, as is well-known already, nosebleed and dollar tables will be removed, the news is that it will happen on Dec 2 and Jan 6 (Jan 13 for 1/2+) resp.

In other news, weaktight PLO10 players there are advised to look for other networks as **** is coming to them

(far from broke, just mixing 3-4 limits to play where the edge is).

The last major skin that joined was Betfair, and that was back in January. Probably the traffic boost is due to Betfair restarting paying affiliate commissions for signups from all accepted countries (not a short list as before) since the summer, so much more countries are now targeted and included into rake races. Perhaps it's a network-wide directive to increase promotional budgets, or just a natural increase in rivalry between skins, as other major skins have become more generous too, and this has resulted in acquisition of players from other networks (e.g. the dying Ongame) as well.

40-100 bb and 20-50 bb are the only options from now on! (I used to start 50-100 bb tables but the majority of the tables already going was 20-100 bb so it's a positive change to me.)

Yea, I think a decent amount of people were starting 50bb min tables. I'm glad I will not have to play so many 10-20bb stacks anymore. I think we really need an ante game option though. 50bb min, deep ante and cap. Just makes sense.

The key word here is 'deep' ante tables - the ones that existed for NLHE were 100 bb only, which is shallow given the increased cost of the round. But I don't see this coming as even at PS / FTP, ante tables aren't that popular. In late June, I requested PLO ante tables and promos from WH's VIP manager but he seemed to ignore this and just wrote that iPoker were planning to see the PLO traffic grow and considering having some PLO-specific promos in the foreseeable future like they did in the autumn of 2012 (but have had none since).

Deep ante isn't that unpopular on Stars/FTP though. Browsing the Stars lobby right now, I can see 9 5/10 deep ante tables running. But only about 4 more between 3/6-0.5/1. I guess the action regarding deep ante varies.
I'm more of a 100bb player, but I like the 250bb deep ante format so I'd welcome the option to have those games run, but yea given ipoker's recent initative, it makes sense for them not to give the option.

Not sure what your point is. It says there will be a new VIP program to replace the current system. You can't officially offer RB on ipoker.

fwiw worded it badly, its not lag as much as high CPU/RAM usage (something like 25% CPU and 450mb ram) which causes slight lag on tables and huge lag on HEM table stats/last pots

Marek, what will console you is that the 450 MB RAM use is not as big a hassle for you as for my granddaddy with 1 GB RAM and 1 GHz CPU freq

Buying an SSD has become a top priority, but it's hard to leave the home in the first place...

I'm having this too on Everest. Yesterday and the day before it stopped lagging out of nowhere after midnight (GMT+2) and worked well after that.

Yeah, I have a 250gb ssd, 8 GB ram, so hopefully this is just an aberration and gets better. Also for some reason my reward points arent tracking? Shows 3.99 instead of 470~ lol, seems like everest is a bit of a mess right now

William Hill & Betfair grandfathered their rakeback across.

The point is, the 30% was flat ("flat" maybe affiliate related), so not having rakeback means $x raking requirements to get decent value back.
