Very new to Omaha, is this the kind of spot where middle set is no good?

Presumably calling turn is out of the question with these stack sizes, but if I jam am I going to run into KK and/or the NFD almost always?

Yes, you will often run into Ahh or KK on turn

I even fold flop. You are not obligated to continue this hand when 5 ways to the flop

You jam the flop. GTO might say something different but GTO might not be able to beat the rake at this level

Taking a passive call down line with top two or bottom and middle set is in general fine since if you raise you are usually going to fold out a lot of the made hands you beat. Raising flop is also fine and a lot of comes down to reads and dynamics. What I like to do is is when I have a hand like this, or a hand that is even worse (like if i have top pair or bottom pair to go with my middle set) then I do more calling down, whereas if I have backup like a straight draw or flush draw then I ram and jam.




I see no problem with just calling turn also. We can probably bail on a heart, and if UTG has us beat it's probably still by KKK not 45. Co probably does not have 45.

The rake hurts your call significantly and I don't like a 3b vs utg so I would fold pre.
