I think mandatory 3bet makes button's advantage even greater because BTN can now limp in knowing that the BB has no option and cannot raise (probably would happen much more often with smaller stacks). With the mandatory BTN 4bet however, this would definitely decrease the BTN's edge as it can litterally take away any option he has preflop when BB can just limp knowing now BTN has no option.

PTR hasnt tracked my hands for quite a while, it's entirely possible he not MAing. plus he's pretty average imo, not sure why you are concerned about it

i mean i've been playing anywhere from 5/10 to 50/100 for the past million years and have a pretty good memory for the players.

i've literally never seen this guy before this week or so and he is just playing everything and buying in for the max.....but ya def seems like nooothing out of the ordinary.

and i'm concerned about it cuz i'm fed up with being the only ****ing person who has only ever had one ****ing account while all these ****ing scumbags just make new accounts left and right.

hmm, hope it isn't THAT wide spread a problem, but maybe you're right. I didn't play on FTP for a couple months, so just kind of figured the new names were people that had moved up or whatever.

I definitely have noticed new names that just pop up at 5/10-25/50 playing a smart, aggro experienced style that can only be learned by playing these games. There's definitely a decent edge these players have until their tendencies can be relearned. I'm in your boat rbk, seems like everyone's changing sn's and I've had the same ones for years...

Don't know how many of you read NoahSD's blog, but he is looking for huge data sets from people that play 6max and HU PLO for some fun data analysis and blog posts. He has done it for MTT pros and 6max NLHE, analyzing winrates and standard deviations, and varying various variables to show how that affects risk of ruin, etc.

I think it would be interesting, especially given the amount of talk about quantifying edges, and how any of us know for sure if we are winners or not, to see what results he comes up with from some of the grinders here. You don't have to give him hand histories or reveal yourself. I am in no way connected to his blog, just thought some of you might want to participate.
