I had a 13 BI swong yesterday - normal for many, devastating for me as i have a 5 BI stop loss limit According to PokerEV 7 BIs of it was running bad the rest was monkey tilt spew - merry Xmas to everyone who played PLO50 on Stars yesterday...

Nothing tilts me more than when a 80/43/3 donk hits his hands and stacks me 3 times in a row arrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The only thing i can be proud of that i resisted the temptation to move up

Rant over, thanks for listening

I played 34% of my hands at PLO200 over 60K hands and increased my winrate by 1BB/100.
I am playing slightly more hands with a higher win-rate at PLO400 but only 16K hands so not really significant. Also I have been playing a lot of SH/HU in that sample.

I am worried that I am just running good though and therefore feel like I can open up my preflop range more. It's hard to tell. I'm running practically even on all-in EV over the hands at higher stakes but my went to showdown figures are slightly higher, which suggests I may be running good.

My extra raises are hands like junky suited aces from EP, more reraises with tricky hands when deep-stacked and then I am calling a lot more in position against EP/MP raises with a lot of gappy suited rundowns, pretty much any suited ace, low pair connecting hands.

Do you think this is just the natural progression of my game or is just a consequence of some run good? Would like to hear from Iggy as I have you running at 50/30 and you obviously find it profitable.
DB says in his book that he never folds the next hand after winning a pot... perhaps he's onto something?

Hehe i did. I think i lost 7 or 8 all ins with trips in a row now (see my rant above) so i was thinking God how will I lose this hand?

I just realized i didn't have a winning week in 2009! My confidence is below zero, thats why i hesitating and misplaying even easy hands.

Oh btw any obvious leaks by me? Although we don't have too many hands together...

nice one, i need to start doing stuff like this (waiting for a safe turn), there's too much variance in my game atm cuz i get too excited when i flop 2prrrrr

Yeah but how many safe turns are there on that board? 2346J9 that's not a heart.
This deep and with no redraws that's probably the correct play tho.
