I read a post about Pokerstars only having a couple of +bb ev players on their top 20 list for low stakes plo. It was concluded that these players must have rakeback in order to survive this game... I have been playing on sportsbook.com (merge server) I have been winning at low stakes Omaha, but if the rake is the same am I destined to give it back?? and or can anyone recommend sites that still allow people to sign up with rakeback?

A better question is how many low stakes players actually put in the effort to try to get better at the game, challenge themselves, and then win more money? The list of players post Black Friday who were playing low stakes and have gone on to play and win at mid or high stakes in incredibly small and it seems that not many players still playing low stakes have the desire, discipline, or dedication to put their own names on that list. Rake sucks, but then again, so do most of the players complaining about it.

Regarding deals, ask recent regular posters of the Pokerhost thread (an O/8 forum regposter spimp13 also plays there), I have little knowledge of the Merge network (was at Host as a ROW resident back when there was 35% RB instead of the terrible VIP program whose top tier is invitation-only ). Carbon has bigger promotions than Sportsbook too.

However, if I remember right, there's segregation of player pools on Merge - some tables are seen from Carbon / Aced + Host only, and some from PlayersOnly / Sportsbook only, can't comment on which pool is better, or maybe PLO is not segregated.
