Yeah it was class, I think I played some great poker that weekend, no bad beats. The game was juicy, pre-flop action was mad maybe 100-200 to see a flop.

Were you at this game?

this looks like it was Friday nights line up, especially with the 20k stack. I wasnt in this game as I got knocked out of the tourney very late on Day 1. I strolled in for a look though in between the beers. The game had everything from a full tilt 200/400 plo player to a guy that you would build a game around on a daily basis. It was some line up.

You actually have alot more outs than you think. If you call turn and a non board pairing diamond hits you can win the pot too. I'd def call.

I'm guessing this was in Killarney the weekend?

You have a 16 card wrap, I think. Obviously you probably have to discount 4 outs due to the diamonds.
Even against worst scenario I see possible of being against TopSet+NFD you have 40% Equity against one player. So you definitely have the odds to call and see the river.

board: Td9d4h2h
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
KhQhJh8d 40.00% 16 0
TcThAd5d 60.00% 24 0

Even if he somehow has the Nut heart draw with Top Set, you still have odds to call with 35% Equity. (Your implied out are worse though as you could stack off to the nuts if a heart comes.)

Definite Call for me.

I would ship it in on the turn. This is why we play this game. If he's betting 99 or 44 he folds too. To much hand to fold tho.

BCB gave it away for me. Knew his alias.
Games were mental (read Great). I didnt play Friday, still in Tournie, but played a good bit on Saturday evening and when I game back from town that night, The 1/1/3 game that was really 1/1/3/10 (/35)
Think I'll give up the live donkaments, time better spent in the cash games, more fun, more money.

Nice, me and my friends were trying to work out on the rake the house took, how much do you think the house took on rake that weekend, it was 7euro per person every half hour and more at the higher tables.

There's no way I call on this turn. Raise the pot. You have 46.43% equity against the nuts (TTxx). If you call you might not get paid off on the river. Calling is too passive.

i think in position call is best, esp. since our heart draw came on turn, meaning less likely he puts us on it. the "obvious" draw (diamonds) is not the one we're on, so i think we get pd. ALOT on riv and can possibly bluff diamonds. In fact, sets will probably lead into us a good deal when we river some sort of nut str8 here and check to let us "bluff" hearts.

Screw london, I'm moving to ireland!

Quick trivia question: how many outs do we have to the nuts on this turn?

I'd call, we don't have much fold equity live, and we get paid off if/when we hit anyway. Forget about bluffing, unless we have specific tells. In any case, these tells aren't always reliable, the fish may squirm when a diamond hits the river because he's now got a medium flush and he knows it's going to be a tough call when you shove, but it won't stop him from making the call.
