Hi all,

Everyone is a fish. V1 just got stacked, and has been raising pre a lot. Two limps, hero $15 KhQsTs95h in CO, V1 OTB $65 ($200 to start), BB cold calls (OMC?), one limper flats, hero 4! $300 playing $750, figure let's pick up dead money since people fold way too much in this spot, V1 AI for less, OMC tank folds, limper tank *calls* with $175 behind (limper previously has seen hero do this with a worse rundown, not surprised he called, assuming he remembers the previous hand).

Flop ($870): J-8-8ccs. X/x. Turn: 4d. X/hero rips. V doesn't seem like he has much and we still have a lot going on with our wrap (and have AA a lot).

Thanks,
DT

PS: Been playing bad/running bad for a while. This could be very spewy.

Yeah, this seems really unnecessary in these types of games. Good for your image, I guess. I'd rip the flop.

Seems like a tilty play from anyone but especially you.

Pre is torching. Check/fold turn is probably correct, hard to think villain has many check folds unless his range is complete cheese. In which case we can just ship the flop and not worry about it.

FWIW I don't see how you expect the limp/cold-call-3bet player to ever fold to your 4bet. Can you ever actually remember that happening with any player?

Also maybe pick the top half of the deck when doing this:

ProPokerTools 5-Card Omaha Hi Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
KxQyTy9x549.93% 288,81921,542
50%50.07% 289,63921,542

Having a 5 (3 gapper) is _much_ worse than a 6 here:

ProPokerTools 5-Card Omaha Hi Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
KxQyTy9x651.55% 298,22822,131
50%48.45% 279,64122,131

...but I heard it's also allowed to just call then, too.

FWIW once we get to the flop I can't see myself x/f without god like reads the straight is dead, doubt I ever check AA either so probably just shrug and shove flop.

I feel like this should be intuitive for people but maybe not. When we have 95, we make the same straight as 9T and when we have 96 we add another straight possibility. Maybe someone learned something

I appreciate all the above points. But interesting that I ran it and I actually had the most equity pre three ways v AA and V2’s 9-high rundown!
