With only 3 outs to the nuts, I fold after the our cbet gets raised. Definitely folding on the turn.

Flop bet is good, we have bdfds, straight draws + overpair, fold now since we don't have odds vs any value hands and even combo draws are doing well vs us.

As played, probably calling the turn with the plan of getting chips in on the river except 8, q, a, or club.. if some of these cards check on river hero can bluff

I think if hero bets flop b/f is more attractive than b/c, also a very good flop to checkback frequently

But if we call the flop it should not be with a plan of folding this turn

i honestly think checking this type of flop and balancing checking (vs cbetting) this exact type of hand with stronge, nuttier combodraw type hands makes it way easier to play... i'm not sure though. any thoughts would be appreciated

These sort of marginal holdings heads up in position you should check some of the time and bet some of the time. But you should be betting here very wide, any strong hand of course and lots of other stuff like AT, AA, any flush draw, open ended etc. You can win the pot immediately or they can call you and you can bink. It is immediately profitable and great for your image. Plus if they raise you then it is easy you just throw your hand away. A lot of poker players have the strategy of trying to make a big hand and are not shy about playing out of position while they do it. The problem with this strategy is that it's hard to make big hands and hard to win out of position. So an excellent counter strategy to that strategy is to play in position and hope your opponent does not make a big hand. In short you should frequently bet marginal holdings when you are last to act, even multi way, but especially heads up, because it is good for your image, you can win the pot immediately or you can bink and now extract more value in a larger pot. This tactic works especially well against loose recreational players but is pretty effective against any play style.

Is there any other info on Villain besides good and thinking? How do people play on Anon sites?

We have a decent combo to bluff catch with here, with regards to equity and blockers.

Agree with first reply. Even if villain is raising with draws, get him with better odds down the line.
