Hi all,

V is unknown, presumably rec. who has amassed a big stack. He bets when checked to quite a bit. Hero opens KJT97ds (KTcc, 97dd) utg and we get six callers.

Flop ($90): Q68sdc. We flop a nice big wrap and two backdoor flush draws. Hero bets $80, only rec calls. We are $1.2k eff.

Turn ($250): 7d, giving us the nuts with a 9-high flush redraw and straight redraw. Hero gives V some rope and checks, V bets $150, hero calls. Anyone just betting or c/r here?

River ($550): Ts, improving us to the nut straight again. Hero checks, V bets $350, hero c/r to $750. V folds fairly quickly.

Thanks,
DT

Looks like you got max value. Well played. C/R the turn loses you his river bet.

As played, think turn is a near-mandatory check-raise.

Flop - would mix between bet, xc and xr. But generally starting with x is better because utg range doesn't connect strongly with this board so we can x mosr of our range.

i think this is a good change-of-pace play against an aggressive v. my default line against this player type at this depth would probably be c/r turn, but your line allows his pure bluffs to continue. nh
