Possibly standard, but I have multi-street questions so...

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($14.56)
BB ($27.05)
UTG ($40.38)
Hero ($68.81)
BTN ($25)

BB is 33/23/9 with AF(q) 37/25/12. WTSD 28, W$SD 51. C-bet flop 59, C-bet turn 59.

Dealt to Hero 9 J 8 K

fold, Hero raises to $0.85, fold, fold, BB raises to $2.65, Hero calls $1.80

FLOP ($5.40) 3 6 J

BB bets $3, Hero calls $3

TP with live 2 pear outs and a BDFD. Should I be raising here?

TURN ($11.40) 3 6 J 8

BB bets $7.75, Hero ?

EZ shove, right?

Depends a bit on the tendencies of the villain, IMHO. If he's the type at the micros who is just never 3-betting anything other than AAxx (tho the 9% 3-bet stat is more than AAxx), and he's also the type that can't fold that hand, sure, jam.

Other player types are decent enough to fold when you jam the turn if they have dry AAxx here, but depending on stack sizes, he may just ship it with an overpair + gutter or overpair + turned flush draw.

In a nutshell, the vast majority of the time you have the best hand here based on the preflop action, and based on the board texture. If you think he'll call it off, then jam. If you think he'll continue barreling if he puts you on a missed straight draw, then c/c and hope he bets river on a blank.

Well, the real question is how to extract max value. Some players at these stakes are good enough to fold AAxx if he jams the turn, some aren't.

Some players at these stakes will also barrel every street if you just c/c and they can put you one some kind of missed draw.

hand is no where near strong enough to play slower than a shove, he has side cards with any AA he has, as he bet the turn again on this nasty for AA turn card it suggests he got a bit to go with it or he jsut sucks or he has a stronger non AA hand combo draw,

about pre it worked out ok obv,,,, but if BTN 3betted you then a blind cold called it might be good to muck, this spot is playable because you have position against a narrowed range but be careful with these Kj89 and worse hands, massively different to AQT9

Max value is a shove 99% of the time.
