HU Skype meetings? HU Skype meetings?

I was wondering if anyone was interesting in some Skype discussions specifically about HU PLO. Personally I think it is next to impossible to analyze HU hands in PLO, especially without an agreed upon frame of reference, on a text based forum. For one the posts would be obscure and diluted with the time gap from post to post, and for many they would be confusing. So I am suggesting that we get together on SKYPE if possible or AIM if SKYPE is not an option. PM me for my aim address and just reply here if anyone has any interest. Perhaps we can get some kind of group discussion going with multiple people.

I have a collection of personally crafted essays on HU omaha that I think would be very helpful and I am sure there are methods and moves that many of you have that would benefit our games. One flaw in a lot of good player's thinking is "don't educate your opponents", but if you really think about it, you can get to an extremely high level of playing ability without ever playing anyone really great or even good for that matter. It is entirely feasible to only play fish at every level of play, I assume that is what most strive to do. Secondly, from experience with now known good and great players, most have had partners or groups of people who help analyze and contemplate the game of their choice. Hardly anyone bears the burden alone. With that said, I hope that a group of us can form some group that can exploit this relatively unexplored form of poker. What do you guys think?

Analyzing HU PLO situations is pretty difficult but impossible is way off. It just requires a ton of information that is hard to post and show on an online forum. I was hoping Cardrunners would get their hand replayer to host PLO HHs soon because that would be a big step for analyzing some short handed and HU plo spots, where you could post the whole session up to the situation in question and that way anybody trying to analyze the hand will have the same exact information you did at the time of the hand.

Unforunately, Cardrunners won't be adding the plo HHs to the replayer for awhile, so something like OP suggested might be the best way to get this done. PokerStars hasn't deleted the HU PLO SNGs I had created for the 2p2 HU mtt. They are HU plo sngs that cost a penny (no rake) to enter. You start with 250bb stacks and the blinds don't escalate. I might suggest taking advantage of these matches while they're still available, they could be a real big tool in helping you develop you HU PLO game.

I would love to do this. There is a rich local who thinks he's good that will play me heads up for any amount I want. I just haven't found a good way to learn heads up PLO. My aim is Lokganwah

Hey guys sorry i haven't responded in a bit I have been really busy with school and stuff and since we haven't really found how exactly were going to do the online chat, I thought a good idea would be to give you guys a topic to start researching....

I think the best place to start is preflop and figured that a good primer for preflop would be
A) dealing with LAG preflop players IN position.
B) three betting OUT of position

I think some good things to think about would be inflection points for RR a LAG 3 better preflop and solid lines to deal with their pot pot pot mentality. B I think is a little more straightforward but lets think about flop action with regards to flop texture after it has gone Raise 3 bet and we are the three better.
