Played 124 hands with CO and he has been playing 38/24/11 preflop. Was multitableing at the time so no other reads than that but he has likely not played a lot on this site or limit.

I think you have enough fe to bet with napkins almost and since you can happily call it off vs their most likely jamming hand trivial bet IMO

How terrible is this fold?

6 handed, $2-$5-$10. SB is playing about 10/5, also conservative postflop. spewtard is 100/5. Hero has a tricky/aggressive image.

BTN (Hero) $4000
SB (Tight Reg) $2260
BB
STRAD
UTG
CO (spewtard) $460

Preflop: Hero has 6 8 8 K
UTG calls, CO calls, BTN raises to $60, SB calls, 3 folds, CO calls.

Flop ($200) 3 players : 6 8 Q
SB checks, CO pots for $200.
Hero thinks, picks up a tell that SB is interested in the hand.
Hero raises to $650.
SB goes all in for $2200. CO calls $200 all-in.
Hero tanks and folds.

Spoiler:
Turn: 9

River: 3

SB shows 6 J Q K
CO shows 4 7 9 T, wins with a straight

Nit's range is more than just top set. It also includes wraps with (N)FD and probably also top pair with the NFD. Given this and the fact that you are getting better than two to one you have to (shrug)call.

Hate it after putting in so much money. If it goes bet/raise/reraise then gets backs to you thats a slightly different story.

Looks like std gay spot but idk what to do. Villain huge fish 3bet something like 50% and 4bet fluctuates between very low and very high with how he's running. Now WUG if he calls every fd, pair, wrap, open ender? Expect him to still call pair + fd, Pair + open ender on turns, but play rivers straightforward. Value in betting vs his range vs having to bet / fold when he c/rs? Is b/f ok vs this villain?

We b/f here vs better players as well?

Live $2-$5-$10, 10 handed.
Table plays extremely loose preflop: most flops are seen 6-7 way. Everyone at the table has $2000+ except for BB.
Opener is a spew, 50% PFR to $25-$30 from all positions.

UTG ($2000) Villain
UTG2
UTG3
MP1
MP2
CO
BTN
SB
BB ($200)
STRAD ($3000) Hero

Preflop: Hero has 9 T J K
UTG raises to $30. 2 folds, 6 calls. Hero raises to $250.
UTG reraises to $960. 5 folds, BB calls $200 all-in. Hero calls.

Question 1: would you 3bet here?
Question 2: what range of hands would you 3bet here with?

Spoiler:

Flop: 4 T Q
Hero bets $1040, Villain calls.

Turn: K

River: J

Villain shows A A K 3

Yes, 3bet. You 3bet here with playable dominating hands that allow you to comfortably bet/call a lot of flops while ahead of other people's stackoff range. The one you have is a fine example.

villain is 35/23 laggy reg. folds to flop cbet only 34%, raises it 29%. Saw him raise paired flop w/ overpair once.

I bet flop+turn on smaller side vs him to induce raise/float with dominated draws

Standard river fold? (fwiw he instacalled flop+turn)

I thought that it should be kind of obvious to him that I'm checking to call since all draws missed, which is why I folded

Do you think it's close (vs the avg reg) or pretty standard call?

expect a lot of his 10s to be unaccounted for bcoz of pre and positions and i expect laggy reg to raise 6's flop high % of the time and think he will turn a lot of his op + fd into bluffs + he can miss **** ofc

Total pot 565 / 225 = 38% equity to call and after tinkering around a bit with PPT came up with 29% equity vs his value range. How often does he need to be bluffing to make call profitable?

Depends on how much equity we have against his bluff range.

    (100%-X)*29%+X*100%

This, assuming we have his bluffing range drawing dead. If his bluffing range has 20% against us, replace last number w 80, etc.

    Imo.
