isn't check/call leaves us in awkward situation on river that doesn't improve our hand?

how would you even go about giving % to each portion of a villain's range? stox poker combo is a nifty tool that can help you figure it out for NLHE but i don't know where to even begin for PLO

looks like a pretty easy b/f spot

maybe this means I b/f too much on turns, IDK but yeah I do that

I b/f dry top 2 happily, but bet/folding with a hand with so much equity vs he's shove range feels wrong.
Also to balance all the check/folding and bet/folding in this spot, I kinda like having a check/calling range. Let him bet that QQ+fd or whatever imo.
Though if he is the type that checks back alot, then I suppose we need to bet.

I don't know... Every time I bet/fold vs agro here I hate life. Then again when I check I have the same feeling.

Let's say we bet and he calls and river is any non 9 or 7. Aren't we in that same ankward spot then?

So you think his turn range is like 97,straights and some pair+draw?

pretty much, wouldn't weigh 97 very much at all though even if you didn't have blockers, who just repots with t2p on this board with these stacks? I think villain is raising 88xx and 66xx + fd hands way more often than 97xx
