Okay thanks for making it this far. I'm posting this hand because of the odd river action and decent price.

One limp to my button and I raise to 20 with AAK4. Abe in the SB raises to 70. Folds back to me and I 4bet to 220. Abe calls. Pot is 440 after rake.

FLOP: T95

Abe checks and I check. Pot is 440 with 780 eff.

TURN: T95 9

Abe checks in tempo and I bet 250. Abe calls without much thought. Pot is 940 with 510 eff.

RIVER: T95 9 6

Abe shoves for 510 in tempo. Long lead up but this is why. Not sure what to do here. I'm being offered 3:1 but this doesn't feel particularly good.

This spot underbluffed imo. Im folding because its hard to name hands that take this line that you beat. I can think of a few hands but its wishful thinking really

Mods please get the SJW's to stop spamming the strat forums. I just wasted a few minutes of my life trying to find the posts relevant to the hand here.

Prob a fold to an unknown .. I bet the Flop more often and try to get the Turn to check thru with increased (we hope) equity. IMO there are a lot more bluff to catch on this River if you bet Flop and the Turn checks thru. Two pair is good much more often with that line IMO.

He's not buying the 9 dangler bet on the Turn and/or he has a 9x or a straight. Some Players bluff more often when playing 'down' but you don't have any history to know better.

Would you really not bet AA9x (or better connecting holdings) OTF? If anything you'd want to deny the wraps some equity or at least make them pay a bit to continue.

If you want to be the sacrificial lamb for the table on how he plays .. call. But you've already determined that the chips may be leaving the table soon as well.

If I check Flop I'm probably checking Turn as well so I can call off a reasonable River bet (and not effective stack) to see his cards and/or bluff catch. GL
