I know this is a common situation in PLO, it's one of the first times I've had it come up since I've started playing a lot more. What are we supposed to do here? Preflop is likely bad I know, was deep with the splashy 70/40 SB and was looking to play hands in position. I know I didn't want to get all in on the flop, so what do we do when he kind of forces our hand?

We fold. Also hand is good enough to open pre.

So it's just a fold with the current nuts facing that kind of heat? One of those Omaha things I'm gonna have to get into my brain. Thanks!

You have a redraw and a j blocker, plus the two other players may be blocking themselves. **** it, get it in. Winning big pots is a good fast way to build a br .

Well it didn't work out that way. He had a set of course. Funnily enough I had a similar situation, same session, where another V and I flopped Broadway but I had a set and had him in bad shape. 400+ BB pot. I missed of course and chopped.

When you say I had a redraw, it would have to be runner runner, right?

I'd say that you are never losing money in the longrun in microstakes online poker by getting it in with the nuts, no matter what the action is.

You're probably right. But I don't plan on staying here longer than absolutely necessary so I need to be learning for the road ahead as well. Low stakes here we come!

Yeh I'm never folding here at these stakes, but as you go up in stakes you'll run into being freerolled by your hand + something else.

poster must be talking about running non-pairing diamonds, which would be the nuts on the end for you
