$25 ante PLO bomb pot. Hero is $3,750 deep. Time rake only. 8 handed. The main game is 5/5 holdem, bomb pots every rotation when buttons meet.

V1 is a rec that covers hero. Not scared money, but capable of big lay downs for a lot of money. Also very gambly.

V2 is a good holdem reg/pro but overvalues 1 way hands in double board bomb pots. Sometimes he oushes out chops but sometimes he is putting money in to chop. V2 has $2,500.

Hero has AdAsJh7d

Flop $200:

Top: 5d4s3d

Bottom: Jd8dJc

Hero checks first to act. Checks to V1 in CO who bets $100, v2 pots to $500 on button. Hero?

Given villain description re-pot is OK.. its a little light but our hand doesn't play well OOP or improve on enough turn cards to benefit much from seeing a turn, even if it keeps v1 in.

I think hand plays better as a bet than a check.

I probably lead here. As played, just repot vs. these guys. I mean, you are never folding, right? And they are gambly and/or can fold.

Call me a fish, but how about we just fold?

Pot it and pray. As javanewt said: you are too strong to fold, you may as well get the money in when your draws are the strongest.

You might chase out a 2p on the top board (good, obviously) and might chase out a weak jack on the bottom (not as good, but chasing out draws multiway is ok)

even if both villains get it in, you should still have 50%+ equity

Result:

Spoiler:
V1 folds and holds, later shows 76 that didn't want to get quartered.

V2 puts the rest in and hero calls. Top board bricks out and we spike an ace on bottom board for aces full, AA is good on top board and we scoop vs J8. A bit of a weird one. A factor was definitely that V2 overvalues his one way hands, plus I just felt our hand was too good and we might as well go with it.

It is interesting, with 4 diamonds on the board, we only have about 31% on top board vs no diamonds, which is only like 16% total equity. Dead to two outs vs J8 on bottom. I guess 65 without diamonds or a J or something has a hard time continuing at least, and exactly a boat + straight is hard to have, but I think I am bad shape vs a boat + pair or boat vs straight draw. As far as that goes I guess any boat will have a hard time hitting two pair on the top board since their two pair outs are already used up on the bottom board. And I have live diamonds on both boards vs a J + straight.

Another thing I think I have going for me is I know V1 can be kind of light here and have bet folds, and V2 overvaluing 1 way hands also helps.

Maybe vs two tight players we could find a fold? I feel like our hand treads a fine line between too good to fold and drawing very thin/to a chop.
